Some have been through terrible experiences in bad churches and this board exists so you can warn others and get support.

But the rules for the Ross Institute message board are:

'All messages express the views of the author, and neither the owners of this forum, Cult Education.com, Rick Ross.com and/or developers of bulletin software, will be held responsible for the content of any message.'

'By clicking the Agree button, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-orientated, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violate any laws. You also agree that you are fully responsible both legally and financially for all your postings and actions on this forum.'

The purpose of this forum is not to promote a specific religious viewpoint and/or to proselytize.'

The best posts are broken down into paragraphs, making them easier to read.

Be careful not to over use capital letters--that's the written equivalent of yelling and it turns the reader off, which means he or she wont stick around to read the good stuff you produce.

The best posts give information that readers can check for themselves.

Best thing is support what you are saying by giving citations to existing stories in the news.

It isnt enough to say someone has demons or is bad Christian. You cannot prove that in court, and it could count as slander. You need to prove the person is breaking specific laws and provide evidence.
