Landmark Education - getting your life back

Hi Sonnie Dee,

I think Oz has given you excellent advice.

It must be difficult to resist coaching. I've read that there is a period after leaving a coercive group called "floating," where you may still be very vulnerable to returning to the group. You may be in this period right now. So I agree with you that it's best to avoid being in contact with anyone from Landmark right now.

You may even want to ask your friend to not only request the documents from Landmark, but to have her (or another attorney) look them over rather than doing it yourself. Then they can offer you the salient points without you having to worry over everything you signed and whether you're breaking any "agreements." It's possible that some of the things they had you sign might not even stand up in court, and it may be needless worry on your part if you try to slog through it all on your own.

And remember, we're here to "talk" to if you feel worried or pressured.
