Briefly from memory, Marshall Thurber (an est graduate) created M & Y with the help of a psychologist Georgi Lozanov who devised the games and teaching style. Then Robert Kiyosaki and DC Cordova took it over around 1985. Apparently Kiyosaki was also a est grad. Then an expose on the seminar in Australia closed it down in the 1990's. As far as I know, Kiyosaki is no longer involved, but DC Cordova still is. Various presenters over the years have facilitated the program in USA and Asia.
