Landmark Education has previously taken legal action against newspapers, magazines, websites and television programs that have criticised it. ... It has taken legal action against Google and YouTube to have criticisms of its products removed. In 2006 it took action against a Queensland website owner to remove online claims about the organisation.

Interesting that after 2 years the press still remembers and writes about attempts to suppress Freedom of Speech on the Internet, and in "newspapers, magazines, websites and television programs that have criticised it."

Again, what people don't get is that Australia has scant therapists, counselors, and psychologists.

The "governing board for psychology" if you can even call it that, because it's a pretty buck-ass system that looks like it was cobbled together for PR...doesn't do much.

I could show up in OZ, put up a shingle, conduct therapy, and no one would bother me.

SO...in absence of counselors/psychologists, Landmark Education is shooting fish in a barrell. No competition. This usually happens in a capitalist-socialist mixed culture.

Personally, I think the Australian government is the stupidest compared to the US government...and it actually HURTS me to say that.

The same thing happened in New Zealand, Doctors, Nurses, police, corrections officers, members of parliament were all paid to go on landmark courses

I remember listening to Kim Hill who is a radio presenter here in nz talk about landmark and she was less then flattering

The worst thing was that the journalist was too tight to mention the name of the Queensland web site .... the Cult Awareness and Information Centre ... which remains the only site to host the France 3 Documentary on Landmark Education to this day.
