I guess it's that time of year again. The time when Oprah unleashes another phony guru on the public.

I haven't been around much lately but had to check in to see about this Tolle guy everyone seems to be going nuts over. From the bit I've heard, it sounds like the same ego denying, critical thinking stopping, and emotion deadening crapola.

Maybe all those people who didn't get those necklaces, houses, and dream relationships using The Secret, now need Eckhart Tolle to tell them that stuff doesn't make them happy anyway.

I found an interesting blog which ties together Landmark, The Secret and Tolle. The writer says The Secret led her to Landmark and Tolle's philosophy is similar to, but not as effective as, Landmark.
