I know this post is an old one, however I have just had the exact same experience with my partner and I am struggling to comprehend how a once playful, respectful, thoughtful man has now become cold and callous, truly believing I am something that I am not. We had been friends since we were 12 before forming an intimate relationship 18 months ago. We have a 30 year history as we are now 42. He started the Landmark SELP in April and things have gone significantly pear shaped ever since. To the point he called me and broke off our relationship over the phone after I sent a playful text message he took offence to. I am in total shock. He is completely gone to me, and has deemed me "complete". His reaction to my message was completely disproportionate and irrational. However he truly believes he is right and that is the end of the story. Did your partner ever come back to who he was beforehand? I am devastated that my partner chose to lose sight of me.
