A .org of one sociopathic alternative doc

I know it is easier than it used to be to get a dot org as opposed to a dot com when putting together a website, but it must be quite easy as the alternative doctor I know has done it. Not only is his website a dot org, but it is an organization of one - him. He also has a dot com of the same name. I've done a Who Is lookup but the information is guarded by one of those companies that one would have to go through to contact the website owner. Does anyone know of a way to check if his "org" is registered as a nonprofit?

I think anyone can get a .org these days pretty much.

You can search the non-profit databases.

A person could pose as someone wanted to donate money, and ask if he has non-profit status.
If he says yes, but does not, he can be reported.

by the way, it seems "alternative medicine" is the new frontier for snake-oil scammers.
no laws, no rules, no accountability, no science.
Just vague claims, and huge profit margins.
Its all just salesmanship.
