More like the disease you contracted at a landmark forum expands when you share it and ceases to infect others when you don't go spewing it other people. Landmark Forum programming is a germ that requires lots of healthy hosts to survive, no new hosts, it dies...ceases to exist.
I wouldn't put a lekkie in jail, I'd just quarantine them for a while, and treat them with huge doses of sleep, food, and reality.
