Are there any locally based support groups out there for people that have left or thinking of leaving a LGAT but don't know where to go for help? Something like the ones for people who leave abusive relationships or other bad situations. I've found links on this and other sites as to where to go for professional help in some states. But I haven't seen anything like what I'm talking about. Atleast not here in the Texas / Oklahoma region.

I'm thinking of something that would be easy to find, somewhat anonamous, and totally safe and non judgemental. Where a person would be supported and protected from the LGAT and feel safe that they've contacted the right people.

I'd like to be able to provide that in the states sometime in the next few years, just not quite there yet.

Are there any obsticals to a group being formed? I'm sure Landmark and others wouldn't want one to form. But other than that what could keep one from being formed?

We can create an online version right now, and make it by invitation only so it's safe, either online with Yahoo Groups, or MySpace, or something like that if you want to ...

If there is enough interest, this would be a very good idea.

There is already one MySpace group similar to this idea now :

That's an idea...Anyone else on here interested? I wouldn't want it to conflict with this forum or what Rick Ross has. Both have been a tremendous help for me since I left Landmark. I'm sure others feel the same way.

I have posted on that one, but there was not much going on at the time. Landmark zombies are also allowed to post. In particular, I like "Werner beat his son. so what, Bing Crossby did ...". Just the typical pattern of defending Landmark (usually the same arguments used by every Landmark zombie) without realizing that they are doing that.
