PSI Seminars: Legal Action?

I believe what I’m reading about PSI seminars as my sister is now a member of one of their groups.

My sister returned from PSI 7 last month only after attending their basic class the month before. The change in her is beyond what I could describe. She has turned into a cold hearted bitch. I wished there was a better word to use, but bitch is what comes to mind.

The reason I say this is because after her return from each class she has done nothing but turn her life upside down. The only one she cares about is herself as she has something to prove to her group, that being enrolling others to take these classes. My parents are very upset with her. She quit her job shortly after coming back from PSI7 and moved back in with my parents. She dumped her boyfriend when there was no hint of a problem until she returned from this class.

To make matters worse she signed up for the leadership program for a cost of $4000.00. She doesn’t have that kind of money and now she wants my parents to pay for it. They told her that she couldn’t have the money and naturally she blew up at them and decided to enlist my help in getting it from them. After she explained what was going on I asked her what the emergency was in taking these classes in so short a period of time. She said she wanted to complete the courses to get what she wants in life. Now my sister is no rocket scientist, but she does have a lot of common sense, or so I thought until this happened. I told her that mom and dad are on a limited income and they shouldn’t have to pay for a class that serves no useful purpose. She blew up at me and said I didn’t support her. Now I wished she and I were still kids because I would have kicked her in the ass for being so stupid. I tried to reason with her, but to no avail. Now I am on some sort of shit list with her as she won’t talk to me, except for one word answers.

I was talking to a friend the other day about the situation with my sister as I had no idea what the hell was happening. He asked me if she had gone to any type of seminar recently. When I said yes he asked me which one and I told him it was PSI. He told me that his brother went to the same course some years ago and started acting with the same erractic behavior shortly after his return. He said his brother was deeply involved with PSI for over three years and he destroyed his relationship with the entire family. He said his brother left his wife and family within a couple of months after his return from one of the courses and it took him over two years to get back to normal. The brother spent thousands of dollars and had nothing to show for it. He lost his marriage, family and friends. His children don’t respect him after what he did to their mother. My friend suggested I research this group and I am not surprised with what I’m finding as my sister is behaving exactly like some of the people you all are describing.

I hope my sister comes out of this soon because she has been destroying herself with this. I’m just thankful she’s not married and with kids.

I want to thank those of you who posted your stories here; forewarned is forearmed. God Bless.

This must have been some class for PSI7. I counted at least four, or is it five, people who walked out on their spouses, etc, after coming back from this.

I am sorry to hear about your sister John, I can related as I am having the same issues with my wife.

As another addition to all of this I was watching Law and Order again and they had a story on a cult. During the course of the story one lawyer said something about the FBI having a CULT Task-force. I checked the web site and found some information, but nothing on PSI Seminars, or PSI World. They did have a section under frauds so I wonder if that would qualify?

Just a thought.

Ok, I gather a list of senators in Arizona. I think if we get together and email them and complain about PSI and other large groups awareness training programs maybe we can close them down.

I live in Oregon. Klemmer & Associates is based in California. There last 6 month long seminar is held on two seperate weekend seminars held in Arizona.

Which state is going to be the correct state to address?

My state? Oregon
Klemmers state? California
Samurai Camp? Arizona

If it would help to call Arizona reps. I will.

Ghost Dancer, You can add another one to the list. My wife left me on Monday. She's deep into this crap and she can't even explain it.

Just to update everyone; it's still a roller coaster ride for me and the girls. My wife seems to move from one side of the road to the other. I can't seem to get my bearings with this. We started counseling, but my wife does not seem to understand what PSI did to her. I feel like I am going to lose my wife and I must admit I am scared.
