Things do get better if you stay away from drugs and alcohol and learn to live a spiritual life. Not a religious life. Nor a cult following life. But a life based on acceptance.

It is not legal for a company to force employees to subject themselves to these. Do you have an HR department? There have been multiple lawsuits against companies that have required their employees to attend these kinds of things.
