technical question about the video

how could they have taken twelve(-ish) hours of footage per day?

wouldn't they have had to change the tape at some point?

that sounds managable if they had more than one participation taping, I suppose, with one taking over from the other at appointed times.

I haven't seen the video so I wouldn't know if they explained it on the actual show.

A quick search on the Internet... They could use something like this:
No tapes. This saves 3 hours on a a 2 GB flash card. Your iPod has a 30GB drive that could store 45 hours of video.
I suppose we are getting off-topic for this message board, unless you are planning to sneak a camera in a session?

someone could. and they could put the footage online under a Creative Commons license. could use a lot of editing, though. I don't, myself, have enough money to pay for a course or for the camera.
