I got involved with [b:f0f2d7c884]The House of Help in Australia.[/b:f0f2d7c884] The leader is called [b:f0f2d7c884]Raja.[/b:f0f2d7c884] He's of Indian decent born in Africa. He was homeless and iliterate as a child. Transformed his life from rags to riches. Claims the HELP CONSCIOUSNESS got him rich. He supposedly receives message from god. Basically he believes the more you help others the more one prospers. Sound great in theory but what he doesn't tell you is that he uses hypnosis and thought reform to recruit clients and followers. Once indoctrinated he coerces you to [b:f0f2d7c884]'commit'[/b:f0f2d7c884] in joining with him to create [b:f0f2d7c884]Pan Paradise[/b:f0f2d7c884] on earth. Then all your savings, money and anything you earn in a job must go to buying assets ('challenges he sets for you') for his Country Retreat named [b:f0f2d7c884]Pan[/b:f0f2d7c884] [b:f0f2d7c884]Gaia[/b:f0f2d7c884]. You see god told him to buy up big, as far as the eye can see. His business name is [b:f0f2d7c884]The Pan Academy[/b:f0f2d7c884]. He started in the UK 20-30 years ago. From there he'd go to Germany to do Seminars and Wilderness Trainings. He's a multi millionaire now. I think it'll be awhile before someone else responds to this, so I'll supplement my original entry with more information.

[b:dffe47cadd]FCJG[/b:dffe47cadd] is an interdenominational religious and social-missionary group. Its emphasis on:
1. Worship
2. Community Life
3. Evangelism and World Missions
4. Mercy Ministries

However I do know Raja, the leader of 'The House of Help', is connected with the mentioned groups in some way. Raja started the movement when he turned his life from 'rags to riches'. The movement started in the [b:dffe47cadd]UK[/b:dffe47cadd], then [b:dffe47cadd]Germany[/b:dffe47cadd], [b:dffe47cadd]USA[/b:dffe47cadd] and continuing in the [b:dffe47cadd]Southern Hemisphere[/b:dffe47cadd].
My concern is that many people will be exploited as I was. They will lose their money (thousands of dollars), time, energy and soul. Raja is very charismatic, appears to be nice and claims he receives messages from god (not the religious one but the "Infinite Being" and "Omnipresent" kind). He appeals to New Age types, vulnerable, people looking for a GREAT purpose and DIRECTION and those that want to be RICH and SPIRITUAL at the same time.
Raja claims if you CO-OPERATE with him i.e. OBEY and CONFORM to his demands, you WILL PROSPER and help create PEACE ON EARTH that will eventuate in 500 years time.

2. After reading his free book [b:c89bc06831]"How to Help Yourself[/b:c89bc06831]" & [b:c89bc06831]"The Help Book"[/b:c89bc06831] (the bible of the 'trainers study group') he does not acknowledge any sources, eventhough he has lifted the information from other books.
He claims all this knowledge comes from himself or god. This is sheer ARROGANCE!
3. "[b:c89bc06831]Cooperate with me and you'll be prosperous"[/b:c89bc06831] he says. Means do everything he says, don't think for yourself, don't question, be a zombie/his clone and give him all your money.
4. When he visits your home he looks around to see and spot clues for the symbols you've set up for your [b:c89bc06831]Oracle of Creation[/b:c89bc06831]. (He knows your new at it and your symbols will stand out. While his symbols are inconspicuous.) While the Oracle of Creation is to attract prosperity to yourself and home, as well as anything you choose to create etc. I think its other purpose is to perhaps create a [b:c89bc06831]'psychic link'[/b:c89bc06831] with him. Forming some sort of 'network'. I have no proof. Only that some really weird things happened to me when I set it up in my home.
5. Everyone that works for him has to undergo training. He [b:c89bc06831]deliberately lies[/b:c89bc06831] about the cost, inferring it's free since your working for him for free, seems fair exchange. However its real cost is paid in '[b:c89bc06831]challenges'[/b:c89bc06831] he sets for you i.e. buying assets for his country property eg farm equipment, materials needed for his seminars and trainings, 4WD vehicles, furniture etc [b:c89bc06831]Running into thousands of dollars![/b:c89bc06831]

[/b:c89bc06831] Yet he actually sold it on the internet as well (i.e. when his site was running. He site is closed down at present.)

- '[b:c89bc06831]Commitment[/b:c89bc06831]' made into a formal initiation, making it difficult to break and leave.
- [b:c89bc06831]Parables & Stories[/b:c89bc06831], in particular the very emotional and heart wrenching story about his homelessness, losing his mother, being on the streets alone THEN his new life in the marines AND the merging of the best things and knowledge he learnt from both lifestyles. Ones attention is riveted solely on him. He has ones COMPLETE FOCUS locked on him, creating a [b:c89bc06831]TRANCE STATE [/b:c89bc06831]in the listener.
12. One needs to be [b:c89bc06831]'humble and available' [/b:c89bc06831]he says to do god's work with him really means you are arrogant if you think for yourself. You must obey him, do everything he says and dedicate [b:c89bc06831]100%[/b:c89bc06831] of your [b:c89bc06831]energy, time and money [/b:c89bc06831]to him and his cause/business.

Mr. Raja's methods are definately questionable! What is scary is that the people he manipulates and hypnotises are so under his control they don't realise it. They want to do 'god's work' and/or get out of their financial predicament so badly, they will do anything.

The Help Consciousness was taught to him by his mother, who basically believed the more you help others the more prosperous one becomes. His mother died when he was in his teens, leaving Raja homeless and destitute. Totally abandoned! Noone to care for him. He told me with the help of God and this Help Consciousness he was able to survive. Then he joined the Marines Special Forces in the UK. The period of time from the age of 14 and when recruited in the Royal Marine Commandos is a mystery. He conveniently skips it.
When he left the Marines (UK Special Forces) he was at a loose end. Saying all that was left for him was to join a monastery. He decided to spread the word about this new found knowledge that supposedly would help the poor and destitute of the world. You have quite a research project here. While some many of these groups may have similar objectives, they may not be all connected. I would suggest you investigate the origins of YWAM for a connection or an affiliation during their course of history with
"HELP..."
My recall of the YWAM situation with my friend is vague being 20 years ago. She went to a mainstream Christian Church locally and was part of a wide network of well adjusted friends. Her mother died under tragic circumstances. Within 6 months of this, she became interested in YWAM and did "missionary work" for them in Tasmania. (She was from Sydney). A friend of mine tried to reason with her but it was no use. We never heard from her again - would not return phone call messages etc. She cut off ties with her father and all her friends.

You decide to go Mr. Raja's seminar. You are taken by his charm, charisma and appeal. He inspires you that [b:b437afdd8b]"ONE", that's you, "CAN DO MORE THAN ONE MILLION!"[/b:b437afdd8b] Little insignificant me can do all that! Wow!
All the questions you've ever had are being answered in the HELP Consciousness and by Mr. Raja.
1. How can I make more money?
2. How can I HELP solve all the social problems like Poverty, Drug Addiction and Hunger in the world?
3. How can I become a more powerful, prominent and stronger person?
4. How can I Help to create World Peace?
5. How can I become more significant leading a fuller and meaningful life?
Finally, you've met a group of people who claim to have all the answers and the solution. You don't know how to do it on you own, but Mr Raja and the House of Help know.
You attend meetings with Raja and the view of helping him voluntarily for this cause. You meet with him at 10 a.m. thinking you're going to do some work, that was the previous day's premise for this meeting, but you're detained for 4 or more hours. No mention that this would happen! He explains the Help Consciousness to you that was taught by his mother and his military training in the Special Forces. What he teaches is the combination of the two fused together. Everything has to run on time. Every project is a mission from god and is run with miliary precision - Mission Critical. His passion can inspire and send you into a spin of confusion. You are taken to great spiritual heights. You will be instrumental in laying the foundations of peace that will eventuate in 500 years. Little old me is going down in history! Oh the glory sends you into raptures. It's a boost to your low-self esteem. Finally, some monumental meaning is in your life. You're dream of living with a close knit community of like-minded people and growing produce off the land exhilirates the Nature Lover. Meanwhile, the relaxing new age music keeps playing in the background.
Mr Raja's spiel is long. He's a wonderful story-teller. Strong emotions are jerked within. He keeps repeating the same things over again. Why? It puzzles you. "I've heard that all before" you think to yourself. Trying to analyse the repetition and what he's saying sends you further in a spin. Confusion. You look around at the other devotees in the room and notice their faces are 'pale and blank' - in a trance. You wonder if you're being brainwashed? No that can't be possible! Raja wouldn't do that. He's so nice, charming, speaks of God and doing His work. His passion for the BIG GAME, as he calls it, sweeps you to loftier heights. You dismiss the doubts. You are swept away on a HIGH!
Raja says if you're late for any appointment or meetings set YOU ARE OUT! His door will not open to you and he will not have anything to do with you again! This sends waves of fear and impeding rejection running through you. You better not slip up!
He finally asks you,
"George," (fictitious name) "will you JOIN with me in creating Pan Paradise on earth?"
You don't know what you're getting yourself into but you COMMIT,
"Yes!" anyway.
The meeting ends. You feel hungry, thirsty and thoroughly confused. Anxiety looms. You do some work together for awhile. It's not the fun you expected it would be. Your head is still throbbing. You are overwhelmed! Going home in a daze.
It's 4 pm. You're starving. It takes you all evening to process some of what Raja said. Restless. Sleepless. Much confusion still looms.
The next day, you are told Challenges will be set for you. Each of you have to buy an item that Raja selects for you. Afterall, he's already spent $1,000,000 on the land. Why should he spend anymore? You have to buy a bulldozer. You have 4 months to buy it.
"I don't have the money!", you say helplessly.
"Well, then you must find a job to earn the money to buy it. Or ask someone who has it to give it to you."
Some people leave at this point. George doesn't have to buy that bulldozer according to Mr Raja BUT if he doesn't HE'LL ALWAYS BE STUCK AT THE LEVEL OF THE BULLDOZER. Its fear that makes the weaklings leave. Gutless! Apparently a young devotee who started in the UK with him met all the progressive and ongoing challenges Raja set and now he's a trusted member running single-handedly the entire publishing arm of The HELP International Books. He rings Mr. Raja once a week for advise. YOU THINK THIS COULD BE YOU ONE DAY! Eventhough you don't want to give Raja all your money, this story is an ideal carrot to entice the donkey. Inevitably George decides to stay!

It may save you alot of pain and suffering in the unforeseen future.
1. Make sure you have [b:b437afdd8b]ALL the FACTS[/b:b437afdd8b] - what Raja expects of you laid straight out on the table BEFORE your "Initiation of Commitment." Then there are no suprises, shocks or hard pressure put on you.
2. Make sure you state what YOU are prepared to do and not. Make [b:b437afdd8b]YOUR BOUNDARIES, LIMITS & INTENTIONS[/b:b437afdd8b] clear and known too! This gives you more power.
3. [b:b437afdd8b]Don't tell all. [/b:b437afdd8b] Keep alot to yourself. Especially really personal and deep things.
4. Hire a[b:b437afdd8b] LAWYER [/b:b437afdd8b]to write out a[b:b437afdd8b] CONTRACT [/b:b437afdd8b][u:b437afdd8b]before[/u:b437afdd8b] you start your Challenges, that state when you leave The House of Help all the assets or the value of the assets you've purchased for Raja/God, will be REIMBURSED to you in full. Then Mr. Raja has to sign it and will be ACCOUNTABLE if need be.
This may save you from suing him in the future.

When you've had the cult experiences I've had and lived with the long-term effects of it, all you really want is ACKNOWLEDGEMENT. All I've ever wanted is to hear,
"I'm sorry you've been deeply hurt by Mr Raja!"
Like a Death in the family, this and my LGAT experience, has been a time of Grieving. People cannot fathom or understand the full extent of what you're going through.
"It happened 3 years ago or 15 years ago. Get over it! Stop harping on and on about it. It's the first LGAT you did that's solely responsible and at fault here. Not Raja!"
To me, this is like saying,
"The second rape and abuse wasn't that bad because you've been raped and abused before!"
This drives one to withdraw from these people....... Then again, it's not their fault. They're still under the influence of the brainwashing and programming. They are still held captive.
It's the DELIBERATE DECEIT & ARROGANCE of the man that still hurts!

My journey in trying to convince or prevent others from getting hurt has ended. I can't save all the people from the ills of the world. I have to allow people to make their own mistakes, as I made mine.
Despite the pain, hurt and anger,
Despite not trusting people,
Despite withdrawing from society,
Despite feeling alone,
Despite the mental and psychological abuse endured,
Despite not being fully acknowledged and believed,
Despite the spiritual and philosophical void,
Despite losing my innocence,
Despite my loss in the belief in human kindess,
Despite some gurus using hypnosis, mind control and powers of persuasion without knowing THAT'S WHAT THEY'RE USING!!
Despite it all .......
It's time I move on, regardless.
Maybe, one day when the programming and brainwashing wear off, in a decade or so, these same people will know what my hurt, anger, my passion for human rights and intentions were all about.

So you met a House of Help Devotee on the streets or if you're really lucky Mr. Raja himself. You're really impressed by their enthusiasm and the magical coincidence of the meeting. It must be a message from God! A promise of a brighter future.
You decide to go Mr. Raja's seminar. You are taken by his charm, charisma and appeal. He inspires you that [b:b437afdd8b]"ONE", that's you, "CAN DO MORE THAN ONE MILLION!"[/b:b437afdd8b] Little insignificant me can do all that! Wow!
All the questions you've ever had are being answered in the HELP Consciousness and by Mr. Raja.
1. How can I make more money?
2. How can I HELP solve all the social problems like Poverty, Drug Addiction and Hunger in the world?
3. How can I become a more powerful, prominent and stronger person?
4. How can I Help to create World Peace?
5. How can I become more significant leading a fuller and meaningful life?
Finally, you've met a group of people who claim to have all the answers and the solution. You don't know how to do it on you own, but Mr Raja and the House of Help know.
You attend meetings with Raja and the view of helping him voluntarily for this cause. You meet with him at 10 a.m. thinking you're going to do some work, that was the previous day's premise for this meeting, but you're detained for 4 or more hours. No mention that this would happen! He explains the Help Consciousness to you that was taught by his mother and his military training in the Special Forces. What he teaches is the combination of the two fused together. Everything has to run on time. Every project is a mission from god and is run with miliary precision - Mission Critical. His passion can inspire and send you into a spin of confusion. You are taken to great spiritual heights. You will be instrumental in laying the foundations of peace that will eventuate in 500 years. Little old me is going down in history! Oh the glory sends you into raptures. It's a boost to your low-self esteem. Finally, some monumental meaning is in your life. You're dream of living with a close knit community of like-minded people and growing produce off the land exhilirates the Nature Lover. Meanwhile, the relaxing new age music keeps playing in the background.
Mr Raja's spiel is long. He's a wonderful story-teller. Strong emotions are jerked within. He keeps repeating the same things over again. Why? It puzzles you. "I've heard that all before" you think to yourself. Trying to analyse the repetition and what he's saying sends you further in a spin. Confusion. You look around at the other devotees in the room and notice their faces are 'pale and blank' - in a trance. You wonder if you're being brainwashed? No that can't be possible! Raja wouldn't do that. He's so nice, charming, speaks of God and doing His work. His passion for the BIG GAME, as he calls it, sweeps you to loftier heights. You dismiss the doubts. You are swept away on a HIGH!
Raja says if you're late for any appointment or meetings set YOU ARE OUT! His door will not open to you and he will not have anything to do with you again! This sends waves of fear and impeding rejection running through you. You better not slip up!
He finally asks you,
"George," (fictitious name) "will you JOIN with me in creating Pan Paradise on earth?"
You don't know what you're getting yourself into but you COMMIT,
"Yes!" anyway.
The meeting ends. You feel hungry, thirsty and thoroughly confused. Anxiety looms. You do some work together for awhile. It's not the fun you expected it would be. Your head is still throbbing. You are overwhelmed! Going home in a daze.
It's 4 pm. You're starving. It takes you all evening to process some of what Raja said. Restless. Sleepless. Much confusion still looms.
The next day, you are told Challenges will be set for you. Each of you have to buy an item that Raja selects for you. Afterall, he's already spent $1,000,000 on the land. Why should he spend anymore? You have to buy a bulldozer. You have 4 months to buy it.
"I don't have the money!", you say helplessly.
"Well, then you must find a job to earn the money to buy it. Or ask someone who has it to give it to you."
Some people leave at this point. George doesn't have to buy that bulldozer according to Mr Raja BUT if he doesn't HE'LL ALWAYS BE STUCK AT THE LEVEL OF THE BULLDOZER. [b:b437afdd8b]Never progress beyond the financial level of the bulldozer[/b:b437afdd8b]. You might as well be sentenced to hell. Only weaklings leave! The pressure it great. Its fear that makes the weaklings leave. Gutless! Apparently a young devotee who started in the UK with him met all the progressive and ongoing challenges Raja set and now he's a trusted member running single-handedly the entire publishing arm of The HELP International Books. He rings Mr. Raja once a week for advise. YOU THINK THIS COULD BE YOU ONE DAY! Eventhough you don't want to give Raja all your money, this story is an ideal carrot to entice the donkey. Inevitably George decides to stay!

The House of Help devotees and members have said that Raja isn't a bad guy at all,
"So, he's deceitful and uses powers of persuasion to get you to commit. Everyone out there does it too. Car salesmen are worse! So what's your problem? ..... I was there. It wasn't that bad. .... Why are you so obsessed in making Raja the bad guy? Why do you want to warn others?
There's nothing wrong with him. We like and respect Raja. Leave him alone. Take responsibility for your emotions!"
This can be devastating. Leaving one to feel totally let down! When you tell them I've experienced depression and years of turmoil as a result of the [b:b437afdd8b]deceitful mind control methods [/b:b437afdd8b] Raja uses at the meetings, one isn't believed.
"He wouldn't deliberately hurt anyone!"
That maybe so, but the facts remain.
