Are you told to tell others you are using NVC?

Are NVCrs told that they must tell someone they are using NVC on them?

If not, a non NVCer might find that conversation anxiety provoking.

What's is puzzling to me about NVC is, if you're applying this method, how can you actually give attention to others?

If you're anything like me, using this method splits attention and imposes multitasking: toggling back and forth between scanning oneself translating stuff into Rosenberg jargon while trying to listen to the other person.

Plus you're scanning your interior to see if you're feeling 'alive inside's.

Weird.
