Is there any way to extend the time you remain logged in?

It's frustrating to type out a message or reply, hit the submit button, and instead of seeing your message posted you're taken to the log in screen - your message totally erased.

Also, I'd like to suggest the addition of a general forum, or perhaps one for questions such as this.

Good question! That happened to me the other day after typing a lengthy reply and it was very frustrating.

Just hit the back button and your post should still be there. Mine are. Then you can submit it.

I always "save" a message if I've spent a lot of time on it to notepad just in case.

I can't post here. Every message or reply of any substance or depth is erased before it's ever posted because my log in time expires before I can complete the message and hit the submit button.

Bah!

You're doing you and your members a disservice, RR. :(

Another way to go is to compose your entry offline and then cut and paste it in--if it is that long.

If an entry is somehow in violation of the agreed upon rules it may not be approved, but that is rare.

I know. I did something similar afterword when I retyped the original reply. Just had to vent a bit after having all my effort go "poof!" :?

It might be that you have a spyware removal program that is cleaning out the log in information from your system each time you enter it. Some are very thorough about keeping your computer clean from possible spyware programs.

It may help to check the settings or such programs to allow postings on forums.
