Did Curbed LA call Landmark "a quasi-cult" and get away with it?

Landmark Education recently changed their company name to Landmark Worldwide - also known as their beginning course Landmark Forum aka The Forum and previously known as Landmark Education LLC and Landmark Education Corporation among other names associated with the company such as Landmark Education Business Development and Vanto Group.

There was a recent article in Curbed LA:

"Is Arclight Cinemas Owned By the Church of Scientology?"

Curbed LA

The relevant portion of the article, which is the opinion of Curbed LA:

Quote

"... none of whom have any obvious connection to Scientology (or to Landmark, a quasi-cult whose name has also been thrown around in all this Arclight chatter)."

So far, it doesn't look like there are any Landmark related commenters on their comments section of the article:

According to "Introduction to the Landmark Education litigation archive" [www.culteducation.com] by Peter L. Skolnik and Michael A. Norwick (February 2006), the two attorneys write:
Quote

"In an effort to suppress this unfavorable dialogue about the company, Landmark, like Erhard before it, has repeatedly used litigation and threats of litigation as an improper tool to silence its vocal public critics."

So I wonder what will happen to Curbed LA for calling Landmark "a quasi-cult" ?

Will Landmark supporters show up in the comment threads ?

Will one of the Landmark lawyers send a letter to Curbed LA ?

Will Landmark decide to start a lawsuit against Curbed LA ?

All are possibilities, based on examples from the history described at "Introduction to the Landmark Education litigation archive" [www.culteducation.com] ...

They did. Scientology and Lgats have similar "technology, lgats tweaked it a bit. It's all about selling "Product" OT level courses material and or recruiting "Enrolling" people.

Hey have you notice these guys tech is also similar to Freemasonry in that they have three basic levels.

Entered Apprentice – the degree of an Initiate, which makes one a Freemason;
Fellow Craft – an intermediate degree, involved with learning; and
Master Mason – the "third degree", a necessity for participation in most aspects of Masonry.

4th degree-33rd degree is optional.

Scientology basic OT 1-3. there 4-8 more levels. 7 unreleased levels.

Lgats have three spread out basic seminars. an intro, intermediate, and a advance. They call em different things for different franchises of lgats. Then if you survived all off that some people go on to staffing aka no pay work for lgat.

idk just something I noticed.
