Recently I became aware of a Men's Group at a local church. The information I read about the group was very much like Mankind's I group format. Listing the Magician, etc., only difference were titles like God instead of King. If I were a member of this church I would wonder if this is a staged meeting that recruits church members into The Mankind Project? How sad that these individuals cannot trust in their faith instead of a LGAT. I do hope these groups are short lived or are they finding a new way to market their organization because of all the bad press?

Best thing you can do is to alert those that are in charge such as the local clergy. If they don't effectively notice, then follow the biblical model of next bringing a few people with you to have a chat with 'em, etc.

The good thing is that you have been able to recognise the group whereas others haven't. Let us know how it goes and what sort of response you get.
