Anyone heard of Men/Women Traditional Role LGAT? The 4 Ps?

One of my friends' husbands got involved with a "man" group -- maybe it was MANKIND project, I'm not sure. I know it was men in the woods with drums.

Anyway-- the "wives" of the men were encouraged to take the women's branch of the seminar. My friend went (tried to get me to go, haha) and said it "all made sense." They taught that marriages were more successful when the men and women took "traditional roles," male is dominant and head of the household and tells the woman what to do. The woman obeys (and manipulates the man) to get what she wants.

They taught that women could "get whatever they wanted from a man " with the 4 Ps: Pink, Pearls, Pumps and Perfume.

Me, I'm an empowered business woman who grew up during the 70s women's movement, so needless to say I was incredulous this was happening and that ANY women nowadays were buying this crap.

Does anyone recognise this or have heard of these orgs? Are they LGAT cults?

(I have since lost track of her several years ago, but I did hear she ended up divorcing the dude.)
