A friend of mine has recently taken the Alpha Leadership training, specifically the one affiliated with the New Frontiers (see: [www.thenewfrontiers.org], [www.alphaleader.net]). Although I find some of their concepts intriguing I am still quite suspicious of their motives as a group.

My suspicions are due to the fact my friend has also previously done a Sterling men's weekend. Sterling turned him into a complete jerk after his weekend. The last while, however, his behaviour has somewhat tempered. He seems more keen on these Alpha Leadership seminars which seem to be much less dogmatic and abusive than Sterling. Despite that, my friend still resorts to Sterling speak (eg. "using your 'bullshit'", causing a 'win'). For this reason I can't help but think these groups have some overlap.

Does anyone know of any connection between Sterling and Alpha Leadership? Anyone have experience with Alpha Leadership or the New Frontiers?
