Is it possible that LGATs create companies that allow people to be their own boss (kinda franchise) the recruitment drive locally (thru call centers) and then get paid on the back end as a % of how many classes a person takes.

The reason why I ask is because I keep on hearing how many conference calls that are being lead during the day. A. No real job would allow a person that much free time to call all day to someone. B. It would explain why many people try to get their companies HR dept to commit to Landmark or Lifespring training seminars.
