[www.scienTOMogy.info] has received 6 emails in 2 days from Scientology lawyers threatening law suits in excess of $100,000 if not pulled down.

The owners of scientomogy.info are shocked as the site simply expresses opinion and does not make any claims and clearly states it is not linked to the church. "The site was put up as a single source to view all the recent hype Tom has made about the church - it does nothing but show Tom so we are at a loss as to why the church is acting so rashly"

They've got to be kidding right? Surely they can't sue someone for expressing their opinion on the Internet. In fact, the website doesn't even need to express an opinion to make Scientology and Tom look stupid. They're doing a fine job of that all on their own.

Whenever someone tries to sue for defamation of character, it's only evidence that they have something to hide, and a reputation that holds water like a sieve.
