SGI

There is information on the Rick Ross site re: SGI. It looks to be borderline cult/borderline LGAT.

I came across the organisation recently by reading a novel, "Geoff, the Buddha and me". It's very interesting, and shows how much early training can stick with you... I read the book and really liked it, to be honest. So then I tried to find "The Buddha in Daily Life" (ghostwritten by the same author". It wasn't in any bookstores, so it gave me some time to reflect. And in reflecting, it occurred to me that the concepts I'd enjoyed so much in the book are just variations on the themes I had rebelled against as a child. And that are prevalent in Landmark and EST.

It is interesting to me, how the dividing line between helpful and controlling can be so close. I suppose it has a lot to do with individuals, and their own motivations.
