There are alot of real estate gurus out there who advertise their "guaranteed" methods more or less. Some will tell you that the people in their infomercials aren't typical. Some use old techniques that every real estate agent in the country knows that a given guru's pupil uses. Also, you usually need good credit to buy a home no money down. And no money down is illegal in NJ for example so check the laws of your state.
Also, if you are buying a building to rent it, a few deadbeats can mess you up. There's a lot of info on the net about the various courses to do some note taking and be an informed investor.
Also, some of these guys advertise a basic course and don't tell you they have more courses to sell to you.

As an Active licensed real estate agent, in Colorado, I COULD NOT AGREE MORE!

Heed his words. I see so many folks who buy into these "no money down" programs. It takes a lot more than buying a tape set and a couple books.
