System slow, unresponsive, down

From September 26 to December 14 the www.culteducation.com website was continuously under a DDoS attack by a loonie in Arkansas who thinks he can control the flow of information on the Internet. After December 14 we had two weeks of rest. Yesterday the attack started again, this time against this forum. As a result, the forum was working very badly yesterday and for a few hours not at all.
I've now done my tricks again and have the attack under control, but at the peaks of the DDoS the system might still get a bit unresponsive now and then. If that happens just be patient, don't click over and over again, wait five minutes and try again.

Braveheart, I have had only limited problems today from my DSL line. I attributed it to American holiday internet traffic slowing everything down (the day before our national 'Thanksgiving Day Celebration' a lot of people play 'hookey'). Perhaps it affected you on your cell phone. Happy Holidays (even if you are not a U.S. citizen or from wherever you are connecting).
