Can't log in

I tried registering but failed. Got an email with a link to validate but then it said: "Thank you for registering. Approval from a moderator is required to activate your account. You will receive an email after a moderator has reviewed your information." It's been over 24 hours.
Please advise.

I am having the same problem! Does anyone know how often mods approve membership?
