I'm a newbie too. I would like to know how you can tell if a Church of Christ is a member of the International CoC? My daughter has joined this group and has totally cut all ties to her biological family because we are not a member of the CoC.

Typically if they are meeting in rented space they are in the ICC.
If they have a purchased building on their own land with a sign that says simply church of Christ they are most likely not ICC.
The ICC almost always rents space for their meetings.
The legitimate coc does not and has been around a long time.

what you are describing sounds like ICoC to me.
