Why in the world do people want to pay money to attend SOMA northwest when its not accredited and all some of the teachers have is a SOMA certificate? What kind of real bible college degree does Mike and Cyndi have? Are they the only ones at SOMA that have real bible college degrees and what college and what kind is it and how long did they attend a real bible college? All elders, deacons and staff ,What kind of real bible college degree,s do they have! Why is not SOMA northwest free? Why so expensive to attend SOMA northwest? Did this school SOMA come from the cult leader Tony Cunningham? Could not TPWOC come up with there own school? What kind of career does Mike promise you? Have you been brainwashed by Pastor Mike yet? The Marysville school district will love it when they find out you Pastor Mike deceive young people from a real education! So much for Summer Jubilee!

Good Morning Marysville!
I thought I would expose more of Tony & Mike's teachings.
From Stratigic Advance most of this teaching is copied from the book "Art Of War"
1. Gather Information
2. Clarify Authority
3. Build your Army
4. Prepare for Succes
5. Implement Stradegy
6. Crafting The Moment
7. Qualify To Lead

This is the outline that Tony teaches. So with this approch and if your a Christian in this class where is God ?
Tony uses a key word here in step # 6 "Crafting" Tony says" One must refrain from committing one's forces until the proper moment, a moment not simply awaited cut insted crafted to be thourely advantageous."

People the is manipulation in the first degree! Manipulation is witchcraft! and yes Tony is teaching witchcraft!!!!

If you fall for his teaching I have some ocean front property to sell you in Arizona! You get your brains washed twice, by Mike and Tony!

Your right it's an AMAZING DEPOSIT IN HIS POCKET! Unfortunate for the SOMA students who are blinded by Mike and Tony's charisma. Buddy

Dear learningpoint,

It is possiable that it was not in context, but then again you have gone to TPC, you don't have to take things out of context to make the church look bad. Which i think is sad, because it makes the church look bad as a whole. I also agree with your view on how leaders should be taught how to invite someone to church with out offending the parents, and the PR stuff of not talking about God, but aknowedging the exsitence or non-exsitence.

Well farewell fourm

I wanted to engage posters in a discussion about exaggeration at TP. Did anyone notice this habit/pattern? I did on a number of occassions when pastors gave reports of events or ministries at which I had been in attendance. I cannot give lots of specific examples, as I did not record them and did not consider them worth remembering at the time, but I do recall it happening consistently.

My most poignant recollection is related to Summer Jubilee (aka Church in the Park). One year, immediately after the event, I remember hearing how many people had attended, a number submitted by those who had been keeping track. Then, at a Fan the Flame (or some meeting before the next Sunday), I heard a number that was significantly larger than this original number. Then on Sunday, the number had increased even more--quite a bit more--and was posted in the bulletin. I was irked by this inflated number. Why make stuff up? Who were we trying to impress and why?

Also, accounts of events always seemed to be hyped up and beefed up compared to what I had experienced or seen when I was there. Anyone else notice this along the way? It always bothered me, but it was just another thing I put aside, not wanting to make waves.

Do you think it's possible that this unchecked habit of exaggeration might have been a factor in developing a comfort level with more significant lies?

Wow. I was just thinking about this when reading an article about Narcissim in the Pulpit. In it it said that this person exaggerates to elevate their own sense of importance.

I remember gathering in a room at the yellow house (I think with). Mike, Judy Johnston and several others they were debriefing the day. Judy said something like we had counters and this is the number they came up with and Mike began saying that had to be wrong they must not have taken this or that into account. To her credit Judy just repeated well these are the hard numbers.

I felt uneasy but left after that. I didn't write down what she had said and then checked it with what was announced later.

My Son and I remember figures being significantly different for summer Jubilee between the pastors! I remember because I was repeating the numbers (bragging about the numbers) and found out I was bragging the wrong numbers! I can remember one figure being different on Friday service then the Sunday service!
