The Rick A. Ross Institute for the Study of Destructive Cults, Controversial Groups, and Movements has officially changed its name to The Cult Education Institute for the Study of Destructive Cults, Controversial Groups and Movements.

The new domain name entry point and gateway to the Internet archives of the institute will soon be culteducation.com.

The Cult Education Institute archives is a library of information about destructive cults, controversial groups and movements, which was initially launched in 1996 and has continued to be under construction and expansion for the past 17 years.

The public message board attached to the The Cult Education Institute will soon only be accessible through the domain name culteducation.com. More than 100,000 entries from the former members of destructive cults, controversial groups and movements and others concerned has accumulated at the board over the past decade. The message board content continues to grow daily and it serves as a free speech zone for those who wish to share their insights and concerns about the topics listed.

Data lost through a backup failure some months ago has now been restored to this message board.

This board is also now open for indexing by search engines such as Google.

Information posted on the board should soon be appearing in searches as this is a public resource.

The data recovered and restored included many individual posts and some threads.

Lost membership registratio was not restored. Old members not currently listed must register as new members again in order to become active members of the message board.

I see that Turning Point Church World Outreach Center has rebranded and is now calling itself Reset Church: [reset-church.org] Looks like the rebranding took place about one year ago.

Reset Church / Turning Point Church have rebranded but are still one in the same. Total authority rests in the hands of one elder. As Mark Driscoll can attest, the notion of "first among equals" will, sooner or later, lead to significant leadership issues.

As per our conversation before you stopped handling my case the reason I will not sign any kind of an financial agreement is because the lawyer basically pulled the old bait and switch on me! He had not given me any notice of the changes in the final orders which you may or may not have been aware of when you said Beth was willing to drop the $500 a month alimony! The lawyer bragged about how badly he had screwed me over. I did not receive a copy of what he had me sign until it appeared in the mail when i returned home! He also added college tuitions for all 4 sons.He screwed me over to the point where him and the arbitrator had me sign something that required me to give 30 days notice just to enter snohomish county! Potential cult-related violence presents additional challenges to law enforcement. Therefore, effective intelligence and analysis of such cults requires an extensive understanding of the cult leader. Cult members generally act to serve and please the cult leader rather than accomplish an ideological objective. Almost universally, cult leaders are viewed as messianic in the eyes of their followers. Also, the cult leader's prophecies, preachings, orders, and objectives are subject to indiscriminate change.

The proof of a pending apocolypse as far as the elders and those in the upper echelon were concerned was the fact that I had received a pamphlet regarding the "rapture" in the mail which I immediately stated could have been put there by anyone,no postmark!The reason it was so significant that I received the pamphlet was because in their eyes I am on such a high rung on God's ladder that they have been crying buckets and buckets of tears for me for years! My son Ryan said that everyone knows that God loves me more than anyone else and Beth takes it even further in her journal stating that my husband is saved and I now knows God exists!

When the article "Recruiting God's Army" came out in the "Stranger" I was at the friday night meeting they call "fan the Flame" where the cult leader went on a tirade about how all that oppose him,speek out against him or dissent should be hunted down and killed.Mainly he was pissed at the editor,publisher and author of the article that exposed him to the point where he stood up there and commanded the sheeple to don the "armor of God" and destroy all those that took part in the article right down to the paper delivery boys and the people who lead the lifestyle that "The Stranger" in his view supports,the homosexuals and immoral! The truly bizarre part was the show of support/solidarity the sheeple showed when asked to by walking up to the front where the "Butthurt" maniac was having his meltdown.From the time they left their seats they held out an outstretched "Hail Hitler" arm out in
front of them,then they proceeded to surround there idol.I LOOKED FOR THE BACKDOOR AND STOOD THERE IN DISBELIEF until I realized all there eyes had gone from looking to their leader to looking at me,the only one who did not make the pilgrimage forward in support of the cultleader!

The cult leader and heirarchy are nucking futs and they are empowered by people who are even nucking futtier!

My wife and sons were basically held hostage at Darren and Lisa Baileys house and I was not allowed to go there after I went there and took Beth flowers.she quietly told me that I could not come over anymore.Interestingly enough Darren Bailey could be seen carrying a sign on a youtube video that stated he was a porn addict,domestic violence abuser,drug and alcohol dependant which qualified him to later rise to Men's ministry leader where loyalty to Mike and the hierarchy were of sole importance!

I knew a long time ago that there was something seriously wrong with Mike Villamor and his world and it came pretty much the first time i sat down and talked to him.It was way back when he was still personally doing marriage counseling for the members in the basement of the church.He stated to me face to face that his heart was so clean and pure that he could slit his wrists and bleed out in front of me knowing full well that he would be accepted into the kingdom of heaven!Wow!Years and years later this was spun by Jeff Barnes to me as an attempt to use the strongest example possible to show me what was available to me through following Mike.Another ear jerker was when Mike told me that through the workings of the church and God on his heart that he was cured of an at-times $3000 a month pornography addiction that had put his marriage on the brink of destruction.Certainly that wasn't congregation money he was spending,or was it?Me and my wife attempted counseling with the Barnes' but that pretty much ended when he asked me to keep a journal of all my thoughts and such from one visit to the next and we would go over it during the next visit.It was obvious to me that something was wrong when i first sat down.He looked pissed at the world and came down on me like a ton of authoritarian bricks in front of my wife and his when i said i had forgotten to.

I spent years wanting to know how all the people that go there could be so blind as to what the main focus of their sermons are $$$.They come at it from 50 different ways but it always comes back to the same thing!I once told my wife that it would be really easy to find out whether their friendship and fellowship were real by not going there and seeing if they still cared or called! She never attempted the test.I know for a fact what the policy is.It is a policy of if someone leaves they no longer exist.Jackie and Sid Singer were neighbors of ours and in an attempt to work on and try to get some help with our marriage I asked her if we could do some kind of 3rd person meating.She asked who i had in mind and i said Jackie and she immediately got offended and stated with hostility "absolutely not Jackie doesn't even go to Turning Point anymore".There is the answer to the question i had as to how people who have left are viewed.Your only value as a human being is directly propotionate to how much of your time,money and effort you give to their church.And if you choose not to they have no use for you.

This is gonna get real good come the 24th! I am gonna get ya little feller!
