I was just wondering if saddleback church in El toro, ca would fall in the same catagory as Calvary Chapel?
My husband and I seem to think so. Just wondering what anyone esles opinion mught be
If you would consider saddleback to be in the same catagory would any church that preaches Saddlebacks 40 days of purpose be in that catagory also?

Rick Warren was originally a Southern Baptist and while I cannot speak to Saddleback's official affiliation they are certainly NOT a Calvary Chapel.

Saddleback is part of the Church Growth Movement.
