Hello, I'm new here. Has anyone been involved with or had a loved one involved with Branhamism? My husband's parents are pretty deeply involved, they are moving from Oregon to Jonesboro, Arkansas, to build a new church, house, and are taking my stepdaughter with them. We are desperately trying to get her back, but I am wanting some info on this cult. I believe it is a cult, she is robotic in her attitude now, long skirts, no makeup, cannot cut her hair or wear earrings, has to sew ALL THE TIME, they've convinced her she doesn't need college because she's just going to get married and have babies anyway. She has to ask her Grandpa for anything, any question, any small need, and if he doesn't have the answer or doesn't know if it's allowed, he has to go to the "minister". Sorry for rambling, just wanted to give a little background on what I know about this. If anyone else has something to add, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
