a Church called "Thrive that you do not want to visit !

i live near a small town in Yeppoon , and wanted others to know this is NOT i repeat Not a Regular church . Recently they changed their name the 3rd time ! yes 3 times , first it was the Community center Church , then i was the worship Center , Now it has a black and white sign displayed called THRIVE
Oh here we go again the PROSPEROUS church or can i say the Word of Faith movement that is actually a cult . a Few have left this place because of the spiritual and financial abuse of the pastor and his wife that pretty much wore his pants . it was insane and i dont know how i got sucked into it at all , but i did and after i realized that these people nothing less than tent healing evangelists that abuse their spiritual authority and abuse others in all parts of the ministry inclluding telling you what you can and cant do and who is more anointed to teach or sing in the church . at first they seemed like really loving people but time went on and they allowed the wife to have full control over the church , she went manic and mentally abused others with manipulation and this guilt by association thing most cult leaders used to make you feel if you dont listen to them your being rebelious toward god .. we did not leave untill they started calling this woman a seer and that we had to pay 35 dollars to hear her prophecy about us ? well i to me it looked like she might have well had a crystal ball ,and parked a gypsy cart in the back ! people lined up like we was going to get our palm read ? then it started the pastors wife started mumbling words and shouted and shoved her hand on my forhead , people were laughing , screaming , running into walls and crying i was like wth?
and when she shoved me , yelling " TAKE IT IN THE NAME OF JESUS "
and i was shoved backwards and hit the back ofmy head , and injured my back !
so much for going there to get healing i could have used a stretcher .
my husband was ticked off we left and never went back
but it took 3 years to figure out they were practicing the word of faith garbage
and used a clairvoyant to tell your future !
so much for what used to be called a church huh ?
this church now .. get this has been handed down to their daughter
and her husband that is a karate teacher is now
taking over
oh great yoga and new age guru and all wrapped up into
a lovely sign that says THRIVE ? Not me i will Run to the hills
and not look back i dont just want to Thrive i want to stay Alive

To whom it may concern:
We are here to help anyone who is fighting the good fight against McArthurism. We have been wanting to help, but wasn't sure how to do it. We have also been affected by McArthurism through our family...they were manipulated into following this cult by being recruited to visit other churches throughout the world. Our immediate family was hurt by our own family because we wanted to help. We decided to take a stand and not let McArthurism take our power away...we want to act, and not be silent any longer. If there is someone who is willing to take a stand with us, we can discuss further what we would like to do.
