To the Forum:

Since Ocean asked for definitions, here is a post from an ex-thiemite expressing thier thoughts, as they discovered Carol Giambano.

D***?
Finally someone has had the
guts, or I might say the
debriefing, to challenge this
pitiful organization which has
paralyzed so many well-meaning
Christians. As I viewed the
article from Carol Giambano, I
clicked on the thought-reform
section. Robert Lifton’s 8 points left me speechless. How convenient
that w/ all the Col.’s communist brain-washing experience that he
never mentioned this well-known author. Here are a few thoughts that
came to mind as I read over it:

1) Milieu control--
umbrella of authority (for our protection of course)right pastor (all
the rest must be “wrong”)cosmic evangelist

2. Mystical manipulation--
Bob is the Spiritual Atlas of this generation Ever notice how
closely Jesus resembles like R.B.T. on the church bulletin?
“Galleria area has come to fruition due to blessing by association”
?Oh, please!

3a. Demand for purity-- “We’re serious students of the Word of God,
here””The pivot! “ (if you aren’t careful, you’ll destroy screw it up)
3b. Guilt and shame-- you probably don’t have enough bites “Officer,
check that person going out”
“LOSER”
“low crawl over ground glass” toward the sin unto death

4. The cult of confession--
Rebound, taught over and over, on the bulletin, developed a sin
consciousness in all of us. Funny, I thought it was supposed to put
us back in fellowship.
How many gates were there in the Cosmic System? Arrogance 1 and 2
together? I lost count the last time I slipped into a depression.

5. Sacred Science--
Only those few “hard core” at Sage and Alabama knew the real truth
from God. Thank goodness for Bob Thieme, since it is “useless to
read the Bible for yourself”
pdf 194
172

6. Loading the language--
Now this could become a long list. As I recall them, most imply guilt
and shame: reversionism, negative volition, triple-compound
discipline, rebound and keep moving, Maybe you should start a contest!

7.Doctrine over person--
Any thought of your own that didn’t jive w/ the Col.’s must certainly
be from one’s old sin nature. Better rebound it, quick!

8. Dispensing of existence--
“Well, the Ethiopians ought to starve- what do you expect from all
that negative volition!” Writing these thoughts down made me realize
just how serious the situation is.
I hope this page will help others to see how they have been
manipulated. It has taken me years to get rid of all the guilt and
shame. The sad thing is I’m not sure even R.B.T. knows how
destructive it is to listen to that stuff day after day.

Truthtesty: Didn't you post this?:

Genn quote November 09, 2008 06:42PM:Truthtesty, I am going to leave one final quick reply. With this post I will have said everything that I have to say. I will leave the final word to you.....
The forum is all yours.

Truthtesty: And now we see this reply later? So you now have more to say. While you typically avoid serious investigation, as Thieme did. You are here to cheerlead.

Glenn quote: November 20, 2008 01:49PMSonic_Ocean, I could not agree with you more. The witness of most Christians to the unbelieving world today is terrible. I suppose that we have always fought amongst ourselves but at least it used to be over important doctrines. Now we act like unbelievers with a theological vocabulary.[/quote]

Truthtesty: There are plenty of Thiemite "cheerleading" forums out there. This is not one of them.

This is typical of thiemites who "say one thing and do another".

rrmoderator,
You misunderstood my comment. I did in no way attack a profession of faith. I did attempt to show my distatste for Christians who make ad hominem attacks against other Christians. Ad hominem is not a profession of faith.

Truthtesty: These are in no way ad-hominem attacks. [www.merriam-webster.com]. Thieme made the prejudiced attacks on the individual Christians' faith, such as: since Thieme was valedictorian of his class and Thieme has a Master's degree, the individual Christian does not have the authority nor are they qualified to think about the Bible for themself.

The objective, constructive, and logical critques about what Thieme has said is supported by doctors of theology, the clear reading of the Bible, the simple truth and self-evident facts. These are not prejudiced attacks. For instance, when we brought up the fact that Thieme graduated valedictorian at Dallas Theological Seminary, but? then we also brought up there were only 6 other people in his class And? if you included the Doctors program at Dallas Theological Seminary with the Masters program, then Dr. Charles C. Ryrie was the valedictorian, not Thieme. Also at the Univeristy of Arizona, [forum.culteducation.com] [forum.culteducation.com] [forum.culteducation.com] Thieme graduated "at best 4th and worst 21st in a class of 444". Now that is not an ad-hominem attack. It is the simple truth. The simple facts. Although, it does hurt Thieme's prejudiced con of "final doctrinal authority" over the Christian's thinking and Thieme's predujdiced attack that the individual Christian does not have the authority nor are they qualified to think about the Bible for themself.

Also, since thiemites have been inculcated to suppress feelings, you might find is strange to find people actually expressing thier feelings on this forum, which they are allowed to do.

I know you have been inculcated to believe it, but Thieme is not the greatest academic mind of Christianty. Thieme does not have the intelligence of every man Rom. 12:3.

The point is to free the abused Christian, not to attack Thieme's lack of character. Although, the simple truth does reveal Thieme's lack of character, but that is no ones fault but Thieme's.for falsifying the truth in the 1st place.

Thieme did everything he could to avoid serious investigation and scholarly critique. It's probable that Thieme thought he would never get caught falsifying the the truth. And? if it were not for the internet, he probably would not have (At least not to the widespread degree of today). Now? It's too late.

We will not be silent. We will not be intimidated.

To thiemites:

There was a booklet written on "right man/right woman", but it is not available anymore. Don't you find it strange thiemites? that Thieme never had a booklet entitled "right pastor"? You see Thieme's mentioning of "right pastor" throughout Thieme's booklet's (in background). Thieme has booklets written on almost every major subject, but the most central major subject to Thieme? "right pastor"? Well? There is no booklet entitled "right pastor". Do you not ask why? Could it be that is is false and does not stand up to the truth? Could it be that the food for your honest faith is being "baited and switched"?

To thiemites:

According to Thieme, you were not qualified "to think" about the Bible for yourself. You don't have a master's degree(which you later officially dissassociated yourself with the officiating seminary that awarded it to you) and you are either "brainwashed" with satan's thinking or "brainwashed" with His Thinking! [forum.culteducation.com] or "brainwashed" by "human viewpoint" or "brainwashed" by psychologists, or "brainwashed" by others, etc.... And only Thieme's "thinking" (right pastor) was "authorized" to inculcate you with what "His thinking!" was.

In Thieme's rhetoric, there was no "in between" for your thinking thiemite. There was no room for your thinking thiemite, not in Thieme's rhetoric. Your thinking was not important: to Thieme, to G-d, to yourself, to anyone, etc..., not in Thieme's words.

That's false doctrine.

I challenge you thiemites compare that with Rom. 12:3 "For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith."

Thieme quote: "When anyone lives continually in the arrogance complex, he is inculcated with the thinking of Satan as the ruler of fallen angels before the creation of man. Anyone who remains in the hatred complex is inculcated with the thinking of Satan as the ruler of the world after men became his prisoners" "Christian integirty" RB Theme Jr [www.mustseethisone.com]

Thieme quote: When anyone lives continually in the arrogance complex, he is inculcated with the thinking of Satan as the ruler of fallen angels before the creation of man. Anyone who remains in the hatred complex is inculcated with the thinking of Satan as the ruler of the world after men became his minions." "Christian integirty" RB Theme Jr 2002 3rd edition p.177

Note 1 word difference from prisoners to minions.

As previously noted one point is that Thieme closely associated "inculcated" and "brainwashed"

inculcate [www.merriam-webster.com]

brainwash [www.merriam-webster.com]

Glenn quote: "I do not know what edition of Christian Integrity that you own but mine does not use the word "brainwashed" in relation to Eph. 5:25-27 or any other verse. The phrase "components of completed happiness" is completely foreign to me. I never heard Col. Thieme use that phrase and unless you can give me a complete reference including a page number you will not convince me."

Truthtesty: Subtitle "Components of completed Happiness" "Christian integrity" by RB Thieme jr. 2002 3rd edition is on page 199.

As noted before there is again a slight word change from the earlier edition [www.mustseethisone.com] "Christian integrity" by RB Thieme jr. and the other Thieme editions this one being the 3rd edition 2002 "Christian integrity" by RB Thieme jr.

COMPONENTS OF COMPLETED HAPPINESS 3rd edition 2002 "Christian integrity" by RB Thieme jr. p. 199

Divine Happiness and True Independence

The mature believer’s “completed state of happiness” in gate eight of the divine dynasphere includes sharing God’s happiness, becoming spiritually self-sustaining, completing the edification complex of the soul, receiving supergrace blessings, and being appointed to the highest order of royal family knighthood.
Sharing God’s happiness has nothing to do with circumstances or the details of life. Sharing the happiness of God is a result of knowing God And being inculcated with His Thinking. God always has perfect happiness; when the believer shares the Thinking of God, as revealed in the Bible doctrine, he shares God’s happiness.

COMPONENTS OF COMPLETED HAPPINESS "Christian integrity" by RB Thieme jr [www.mustseethisone.com]

The mature believer’s “completed state of happiness” in gate eight of the Spiritual life includes sharing God’s happiness, becoming spiritually self-sustaining, completing the edification complex of the soul, receiving supergrace blessings, and being appointed to the highest order of royal family knighthood. Sharing God’s happiness has nothing to do with circumstances or the details of life. (Money, sex, job, position, family, friends, wealth, etc.) Sharing the happiness of God is a result of knowing God! And being "brainwashed" with His Thinking! (Eph_5:26-27) God always has perfect happiness; when the believer shares the Thinking of God, as revealed in the Word, he shares God’s happiness.

Thieme quote: The arrogance complex represents the philosophy of Satan in the prehistoric angelic conflict; the hatred complex is his philosophy in the human extension of the angelic conflict. . "Christian integrity" by RB Thieme jr [ww.mustseethisone.com] AND p. 177 of 2002 3rd edition "Christian integrity" by RB Thiem jr.

So thiemites another question is that if Thieme considered you "brainwashed" by satan's thinking then by G-d's thinking , And? if you were being brainwashed by "human viewpoint" as extended from Satan's thinking, then? When you "rebounded" thiemite? weren't you being "brainwashed" by Thieme's viewpoint as an extension of G-d's thinking? Weren't you being "brainwashed" by Thieme's thoughts when Thieme was talking? As Thieme's human extension of the Angelic conflict of God's thinking?

Thieme repeated this false concept of equal power of inculcation/brainwashing over the believer between G-d vs Satan, as if there had been no Victory at the Cross, as if the believer had "no choice" of thinking for themself, as if the believer had no power to control thier thinking. Ridiculous in reality, else how could one "choose" to repent? but? for a thiemite they are caught in a vicious circle of constantly looking in fear some sin - any sin- to "rebound", constantly stuck in "sin conciousness", constantly submitting to any and all authority (no matter how ridiculous except for liberal, socialist, or communist authority), constantly looking for thier daily "submission" to Thieme's corrupt authority and thier "brainwashing" from Thieme of Thieme's thoughts/viewpoint as an extension of G-d's thoughts.(Thieme thoughts).

The thiemites own thinking was robbed by the illusion of having "no choice" to choose to think for themself. What "Christian human integrity" or "Christian human responsibility" could a thiemite possibly have, if they can't think for themself? other than what they had been programmed to behave which was vote republican/hate communists/liberals/socialists/psycologists/themselves, etc... etc... etc...

Thieme inculcated you to believe, you can't read the Bible for yourself because Thieme is not there to tell you what it says, but not only that, Thieme is not there to tell you what to think, how to be, how to act, how to vote etc... And? thiemites say Thieme did not control thier lives.

To see the differences between Dr. Lewis Sperry Chafer's (beatitudes) and Thieme's (beatitudes specifically gate 8) see [forum.culteducation.com]
