I should have known there would be no reasonable conversations on this forum.

This thread is just a hate group for KCF.

FillMeUpJesus! you don't start a reasonable conversation by trying to convince people they are wrong from the outset and dismissing their experience. You set the tone for it.

If you genuinely wanted to understand people's experience you could have arranged to meet somebody for coffee and listened to their story. Or sensitively asked what brought people to use the term cult and explained you were trying to understand their experiences. Or you could have researched mind control theory and matched it the comments on here and researched how some of those experiences impact somebody's mental health and offered supportive words. You had your own agenda from the outside so please don't talk like you are taking the higher ground because you clearly aren't.

Tkalc you were condescending towards me, flexing your qualifications in cult mastery, trying to put me down.

None of you know my stance, who I am or my beliefs.

If my username is enough to trigger you off, that's just unfortunate. Maybe I should have chosen CultsRBadk or 100pcHATE4Cults.

My first question was asking when the last time someone had contact with the church. Mork instantly jumped down my throat. Setting the stage for a little keyboard battle.

I didn't get past my first post before being attacked, so how can I ask to meet for a coffee? What a joke.

Anyone reasonable who wants to discuss what they think is still wrong with this church, not their experience from 3 decades ago, I pose my question to you.

“Debate me! Debate me!” I scream as I, my amusingly p0rnographic username, and my stale memes become tinier and tinier until we shrink to the size of the world’s smallest violin, to be seen only in an electron microscope. My voice is so high and small it can now only be heard by a specialist working dog trained to hear the shrill noise of trolls who were refused a debate.

FillMeUpJesus!

Does Kirby Christian Fellowship now have meaningful accountability and financial transparency?

1. An independently audited and published budget/financial statement, which discloses all monies spent on salaries, compensation and expenses that is distributed to all contributors?

2. Does the fellowship have a democratically elected board voted in by all the members, which serves fixed terms and must regularly stand for reelection?

3. Does such a democratically elected board determine the budget, control all the finances and can it fire and hire staff, including pastors, evangelists, etc.?

Please answer these questions.
