I want to sue my cult for emotional damage caused to me, but no lawyer wants to take my case. They say "well, personal injury is usually a physical injury.... its hard to prove emotional injuries".
Does anyone know any lawyers that will take a case like this?

From what I understand there are "statute of limitations" this is something most cult leaders pray to and worship, hopping that past members never looking into. If the cult leader had any special seminars or school that you paid for, that could be something you could go after, possibly.

You could look into how the cult leader misrepresented himself posing to be Orthodox Christian compared to the cult leaders theology You could look at it from a "bait and switch scam" or "false advertising"

How about Spiritual Abuse, Coercion and Manipulation, Fraud?

How did the cult deviate from what you thought it was?
