The smoke is clearing in the Hilton do-over for her jail sentence, and the story emerging that seems to be much more intriguing, is the spotlight now on Sheriff Lee Baca.
Radar online has posted information that Hilton money was donated to the cause of electing Baca to his office in the last election.
It gets even more complex. Apparently Baca is a high level Scientologist, and has appeared at numerous Scientology fund-raising events and functions, according to celebrity blogger Janet Charlton.
Baca is allegedly a big promoter of Scientology's front group Narconon, and Charlton reports that "last year was picketed at his home by residents of Leona Valley who didn't want a Narconon facility in their town."
Charlton has posted a photo of Baca on the Scientology float in the Hollywood Christmas parade on her website.

Paris Hilton almost got to do her jail stint at home thanks to Sheriff Lee Baca. Hilton's would-be savior just so happens to be a huge supporter not only of Paris, but of Scientology!
Baca has appeared at numerous Scientology fund-raising events and functions, according to Janet Charlton's Hollywood.

It's all so obvious now, Paris starting to warble on about God and changing her life - me thinks they are getting a back up wife for their Jesus just incase Katie manages to chew through her restraints and head for the hills. :lol:

The Scientologist are very powerful in Hollywood. They have set up learning centers, poverty centers and do a lot for the community in crime prevention so Lee Baca was most likely talking about that and isnt attending any auditing sessions. This was just PR by Scientologist who use charity work as a cover to keep the IRS off their back.
