Here is a link of an article written by an apologetic with the usual straw man arguments.

It is not uncommon now that for many Gurus, Rishis or Seers who have emerged from India, there has always been an unprecedented number of vicious attacks launched on them. These have come in the guise of slander, misquotes, false allegations and myriad smear campaigns.
Moreover it is interesting to note that most of these attackers often turn out to be either individuals who have been suffering from dysfunctional complexes or personality disorders, or pseudo spiritualists, fundamentalists and Christian missionaries working at religions conversion of Hindus, or self-appointed- rationalist experts with highly opinionated, insular theories or dishonest television reporters and interviewers sensationalizing and tarnishing the image of Hinduism and Hindu Gurus, keeping with the trend of unprofessional, ignorant reporting and the highly biased- ‘paid news syndrome’.
No doubt there have been many isolated cases in history where certain imposters and charlatans have deceived people parading in the garb of self-
realized yogis. However to use such cases to generalize on all Hindu gurus is akin to defaming all doctors and the whole medical profession for the malpractices of a few. Such an attitude thus does not only reek of flawed human reasoning but also exposes an irrational bias towards Hinduism as a whole and a long- standing socio- political agenda of a malicious nature and intent to debase India’s sacred culture and tradition.
Let us start with the historical case of Swami Vivekananda the great philosopher & teacher. When Vivekananda went to Chicago in 1893 to speak at the parliament of the world’s religions, he was ridiculed by members of other faiths. This was not because of what he said, but because of everyone’s lack of knowledge of Hinduism and their preconceptions of a faith based in mythology with worshiping of animals and nature. After this there were many attempts to defame Vivekananda by the church during his maiden US voyage because of his mass appeal, displaying that the anti-Hindu guru stance was taken by many over 100 years ago. This approach was also accepted by many and not challenged.
Let us also take the current case with Sathya Sai Baba. Many have heard of him as the guru or Avatar who had performed untold miracles from childhood. Indeed we would find millions who have seen or benefited from his miracles throughout the world. Yet there has been a constant sinister smear campaign to malign his name and mission in the media.
Over 90% of anti Sai allegations can be attributed to Tal Brook (Robert Taliaferro Brooke), who was often seen at Sai Baba’s ashram in the 1970s. He proclaimed he was Sai Baba’s number one western follower. He started the sexual allegations campaign, which initiated from him talking to an unidentified man Surya Das who was told by another unidentified man ‘Patrick’ who had apparently had physical relations with Sai Baba. No one else has met these individuals.
Why did Tal Brooke go to India? He stated that spirit guides, and belief in “psychic stuff” brought him to India and to Sai Baba. Why did he suddenly stop his pro Sai Baba work whilst at the Ashram titled “The Amazing Advent”? Which incidentally Sai Baba refused to bless. Why did he leave the ashram & circulate his anti Sai Baba rumours soon afterwards? Because he stated he had demonic encounters, hearing voices of spirits, out of body experiences, but acknowledged that Sai Baba had Christ like powers that baffled top scientists.
In 1976 Tal Brook published an anti Sai book titled “Lord of the Air”*. In the book and in subsequent years he has attacked Sai Baba & Hinduism, suggesting that enlightenment is an evil path to Satan and that God-Men and Gurus are in a state of perfect demonic possession. He believes that Sai Baba embodies a “timeless, demonic presence”. What does this say about the integrity and objectivity of his claims against Sai Baba? What is also missing is the story of his constant high usage of drugs while at university & India, and his drug induced hallucinations of being self-realized. Other Americans recognised him as a fanatic Christian at the ashram, which is contrary to his claim of becoming a Christian post Sai Baba. He was a member of the Neo-American Church founded by Arthur Kleps (a follower of LSD guru Timothy Leary). Kleps was alleged to be anti-Semitic by the Dutch police who expelled him from Holland. Tal Brooke has denounced Hollywood as being anti Christ, and his smear campaign has lasted 30 years with multiple books and now with expensive internet ad campaigns.
Tal Brooke’s rumours and books led to many copy cat accusers, most of whom who had had a dubious past, but not once has there been any proof. The recent most famous example is of Alaya Rahm who in the 1990s as a young man said he had sexual encounters with Sai Baba. The western media jumped on this, and even the BBC produced a programme which effectively made Sai Baba appear guilty. However Alaya Rahm (and others) had many opportunities to file a police or court case anywhere in India, but this has never occurred.
A lawsuit was created in the Superior Court of California on January 6, 2005 (Case No. 05cc01931). But realizing that the exposure was high Rahm eventually refused to go to court. No other alleged victim came forward to testify in support of his allegations, though anti-Sai activists claimed there were many alleged US victims. Many Hindus themselves have often blindly joined the anti sai crusade with enthusiasm without cross checking for factual evidence, which has often lead to more people accepting these false accusations..
Reporter of the The Pioneer, Sandhya Jain, wrote in 2009 that “As usual, when false accusations are made against Hindu gurus, a high-decibel media campaign begins. But when the innocence of the accused is established, the cacophony melts into stoic silence… No alleged victim ever filed a police or court case against Baba in India for alleged improprieties, though former devotees kept chanting that ‘hundreds’, indeed ‘‘thousands’’ of ‘‘minors’’, ‘‘children’’ and ‘male youth’ were molested by Sathya Sai Baba. Who inspired these venomous former devotees to launch investigations into vile rumours? Devotees say the ‘Anti-Sai Movement’ is an extremist hate group which habitually makes wild allegations, including the laughable claim that the Baba is allied with terrorists!…The truth is that neither Sai Baba nor any organization associated with him has ever been charged or implicated for sexual abuse, either directly or indirectly, and that reputable media agencies and independent journalists have not been able to confirm a single instance of sexual abuse linked to Sai Baba or his organizations.”
Moreover, recently in 2007 the same Alaya Rahm was trying to provide an alibi for a drug dealer friend, however despite his alibi his friend got convicted for thirty years, in return throwing light on Alaya Rahm’s dubious and questionable character.
There have also been years of many unfounded and vicious attacks on Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa, Baba Ramdev, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Swami Yogananada, Mata Amritanandamayi, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, etc. indicating that when anti-Hindu Guru statements are made, everyone naturally takes notice but the media and academia more often than not, instead of conducting an unbiased probe and investigation, rather thrive on further distorting and tarnishing the name of such revered gurus.
On an international stage, Hindus have never done enough research themselves that would throw light on the nature of these malicious anti-hindu guru campaigns. Worse, when the allegations have proven to be incorrect, they have not been able to use that opportunity to publicize that nationally or internationally.
However, now, apart from the Sathya Sai trust, many other individuals and organizations have slowly been waking up to these anti-Hindu movements and agitations and have begun to contemplate taking legal action against media, reporters, editors, and others for defamation, perjury, slander and violation of their indigenous culture and religion.

Some of us in India are sick of smokescreen of charity by these so called gurus who are nothing but charlatans. So here is an article addressing it.

[nirmukta.com]

Ever since the announcement of godman Sai Baba’s death in Puttaparthi on Sunday, the 24th of April, the most commonly seen defense of the life and actions of India’s most famous conman, on blogs and social media entries discussing his death, involves an appeal to the charity work that Sai Baba’s organization performed over the years.
Such a defense disregards a wider sociological understanding of the human condition and ignores the underlying causes of poverty. By their very nature religious groups and organizations conspire to perpetuate the conditions that they claim to solve. But addressing the Sai Baba apologists on this issue is for the most part a futile task. It requires a cursory knowledge of psychology and economics as well as the time and ability for sustained attention to complex, non-intuitive ideas.
So instead, in this post I employ a simple comparison to make my point.....

Years back, I met an elegant well informed lady.

I asked where she was from and she said, Pune.

I said it was a wonderful city, she looked nervous, ashamed, and said, 'To this day many of us in Pune are angry and ashamed at how Rajneesh and his followrs dragged Pune into the mud.'

It's been a few days now since the official burial - any sign of him knocking on the lid to be resurrected yet?

Gone fairly quiet now but I am sure that there is a lot happening in the background, claims of a will somewhere, power struggles for control, who will be the succesor?
They might go off and buy or take a boy baby to cultivate as his prophesised re-incarnation a few years from now! Wouldn't put anything past the Sathya Sai Trust. (strange name for them really, should be the Sathya Sai Mistrust lol)

What an elaborate pantomime / charade this fake godman carry on is !!! So many fooled and deluded followers.

Best keep an eye out for future developments.

So here we are almost 2 months down the line since the death of Sathya Sai Baba and no sign of any miracles, resurrections or otherwise, surprise surprise!

Lots of developments since then with their being no named successor, predictable in-fighting within the SSB Trust for control of power and wealth, no written will, and his private quarters being turned over to find millions in foreign cash, 78 oz of gold and many other jewels and expensive goods.
It is highly likely that a lot had been sneaked away earlier.

Despite bribes and threats there has been negative exposure in the Indian Press and there are a few people in high places keeping their heads down.

The word from Puttaparthi is that the place is becoming a ghost town for foreign visitors and spenders and the shops and locals are suffering badly with no signs of any upturn.
With no living ‘godman’ / figurehead to focus upon things look bleak.

I am not sure how the loyal subjects / followers are doing but suspect that they must be feeling very insecure, uncertain and worried. Wonder how many have given up their blind faith ideal and realised that they need to try and move on into the real world again.
I have sympathy for them as there is always human wreckage left after these things happen.

A few things about SSB still go unanswered such as when did he really die? Why no death certificate / post-mortem? Why no medical case notes? (Some could be made up of course!)

More victims of his and some of his senior people’s abuse of students / young devotees are now coming forward with reports of what happened to them and others. SSB is gone and nothing can be done but some of the other perpetrators are still around. At least some can speak out now and feel some release of their traumas.

There is quite a bit of info coming out from various sources on a daily basis so those interested could check it out on the internet - if I knew how to do it I would paste some links in here.
Let’s see how this lot continues to unfold.

Peace and blessings to all those decent people who have been caught up in the Sathya Sai Baba fiasco / super-con and have now been left to swim in the mire that is left, hope they recover and move on.

To the perpetrators let’s hope what goes around comes around – although in India with enough money you can usually worm your way out.

Blesssss you all

Millions in foreign cash, gold, and jewels.
Raw untraceable wealth.

And most of it would have already been taken away in trunks of cars at night.

The Sai Baba racket, was a giant cash-machine, a criminal enterprise, with many people with their own hands in the cookie jar.

And because it involves those in the government and the police forces, it will all be covered up.
Bribes, blackmail, payola.

It really doesn't get any more crooked than the Sai Baba criminal rackets.

And of course, its not even the tip of the Sai Baba criminal financial iceberg.

But its hard to trust information any local "police or politicians" or anyone when in comes to this kind of cash in hand. Sai Baba had so many people on the payroll, and so many crimes were suppressed by local corruption.
But perhaps there is so much cash stashed, that some of it has to be accounted for??

The Sai Baba group controlled the local police.

[articles.timesofindia.indiatimes.com]
"Before the incident in which three persons were caught transporting Rs 35.5 lakh cash from Puttaparthi to Bangalore, there were many such seizures but after telephone calls from senior AP police officials in Hyderabad and Karnataka police officials in Bangalore, both the persons detained and the cash were allowed to go," said the police sources.

Somewhere on this thread I read that the US State Department had a warning out on Sai Baba, for pedophelia. Good for the State Department. I wish the State Dept. would put a warning out on Tibetan lamas as chronic sexual predators, or Tibetan Buddhism in general as a sex cult.

To: "Arthur Sulzberger Jr.,Chairman & Publisher" publisher@nytimes.com.
Subject: WHEN ARE YOUR EDITORS GOING TO RESPOND TO THE MANY EMAILS SENT TO THE NEW YORK TIMES... ABOUT.

MY NEW YORK TIMES ID# IS 21051844

Dear Mr. Sulzberger,

WHEN ARE YOUR EDITORS GOING TO RESPOND TO THE MANY EMAILS SENT TO THE NEW YORK TIMES... ABOUT

the extremely one-sided and very unbalanced positive only portrayal of Sathya Sai Baba by your Hong Kong Bureau Chief, Keith Bradsher in the December 1, 2002 issue of the New York Times. ???????

My late Father worked for over 50 years at the Des Moines Register & Tribune and it's late founder and Publisher, Gardner Cowles and his senior editors would have NEVER tolerated such sloppy one-sided reporting.

Since 1980, the USA 501c3 arm of the Sathya Sai Baba Organization has been covering up (we have written proof of this) the criminal activities of this self proclaimed Indian Guru who not only calls himself the God of ALL Gods who ever were and ever will be, but also loudly proclaimed that JESUS did NOT say he would come again, but that his announcement of the second coming was, in fact, the advent of Sathya Sai Baba.

This fraud God who is endorsed and adulated by many former and present Prime Ministers of India and other notables from around the world, has been sexually molesting boys and young men when he invites them into the isolated confines of his infamous private interview rooms at his various ashrams throughout India.

In addition to the sexual molestation's, there are numerous other allegations involving murders, missing persons, suicides and major financial corruption's, all of which implicate Sathya Sai Baba at his headquarters' ashram at Puttaparthi, India.

The US State Department still has a current travel warning about visiting his ashram in the Andhra Pradesh area of India, the International Headquarters of UNESCO issued a major press release about the many reports of sexual abuse by Sathya Sai Baba and because of those reports, they cancelled a World Teacher's Conference that would have taken place at Sathya Sai Baba's ashram in Puttaparthi that had originally been co sponsored by UNESCO, major universities etc. Two offices of the FBI have information about this matter and there have been numerous major media interview articles written about Sathya Sai Baba's criminal sexual conduct by such noted newspapers as The London Telegraph, The Vancouver Sun, The Ottawa Citizen, The Melbourne Age, and India Today, to name a few. There was a major TV documentary about these same abuses aired in Denmark, and other European Countries and soon to be broadcast in other locations around the world.

We are not talking about a simple parish priest molesting a small group of boys... We are talking about the most well known spiritual figure in India, who masquerades in a cloak of goodness, and who can choose at will from a never ending harem of boys and young men that have been raised from the time they were born to believe that Sathya Sai Baba is GOD !

ALL of the above references were supplied in great detail to the New York Times on many occasions by many distinguished professional writers and researchers since the appearance of Keith Bradsher's infamous article about Sathya Sai Baba' and to my knowledge, not one of them has ever received the courtesy of a reply.

It would certainly seem fair to ask Arthur Sulzberger Jr, about why such a low caliber of journalism is allowed to flourish and go ignored at The New York Times

Keith Bradsher may be a hero to the anti-SUV interests, but he has certainly turned out to be a zero when it comes to fair and balanced reporting about a matter that has grave consequences for millions of unsuspecting potential victims who might be enticed to go to India to see this criminal Guru after reading Bradsher's article. that blood will then also be on the hands of The New York Times, because it has been repeatedly asked to set the record straight.

A reporter for a grade school newspaper could have done a better job at researching Sathya Sai Baba with just a simple Google search.

Yes, these are strong words, but The New York Times Editors and Publisher have ignored every sincere and civil attempt to even discuss this matter, yet alone make the proper retractions and to present a fair and balanced viewpoint for this extremely serious matter.

If it was important enough to merit the attention of the US State Department and UNESCO, surely it deserves more than a complete head in the sand posture by the Newspaper that claims to print all the news that's fit to print.

Surely, it's time to undo all the damage created by Bradsher's article.

Please have someone responsible contact me at gmeloy@earthlink.net and I will furnish them with my private unlisted phone number, address and the names of the other persons who have tried in vain to communicate with The New York Times.

Dear Mr. O'Reilly,

This is my second request and an important addendum to my recent letter to you regarding Child Molesters and The New York Times.

I just learned today that Tal Brooke, the original whistle blower, who wrote about the sexual abuser and self proclaimed Indian God Guru, Sathya Sai Baba in 1982, appeared on your Millennial New Years Eve Show, January 31, 1999 minutes before Y2KK.

Your producer for that segment of the show was Makeda Wubneh at the Fox News Channel in New York..

Although the two of you discussed other matters, I strongly urge you to invite Mr. Brooke to again appear on your show, this time to discuss his excellent and encyclopedic knowledge of first person and other accountings concerning the worst pedophile molester on the face of the earth, Sathya Sai Baba.

Tal's credibility can best be described from the following bio excerpts that appears on his website at:

Tal Brooke is the President and Chairman of SCP and the author of eight books. His work has been recognized in Marquis Who's Who in the World (Vols 12 & 13), Contemporary Authors (Vol. 93-96), and The International Who's Who of Authors.

A graduate of the University of Virginia and Princeton, Tal has spoken at Cambridge (7 times), Oxford (4 times), Princeton, Sorbonne, Berkeley, the University of Virginia, and the University of Edinburgh.

Tal Brooke grew up in an American diplomatic family and spent the major part of his childhood and youth abroad in England, Europe, and the Middle East. For most of that time Tal intently explored the occult, an ongoing quest that ultimately landed him in the heart of India. There he underwent an extraordinary experience that was later written up in Lord of the Air. This 400 page book, the only full version ever published (an 800 page manuscript that took six years to write), rocked India before it was banned in India. After he returned to the West as a Christian convert, Tal Brooke started writing critiques of Eastern, New Age, and occult thought from an insider's perspective.

Tal has in his possession very incriminating documents that attest to the sexual abuses that were committed on the various students attending Sathya Sai Baba's elaborate educational complexes in South India and I can't think of a better forum to air them in person with you.

As I mentioned in our first communication, there are many other exceptional former devotees and respected journalistic sources that can provide you with abundant documentation concerning every aspect of this criminal who poses as the God of ALL Gods. One of those sources is Mr. Robert Priddy, retired philosophy and sociology researcher & lecturer at the University of Oslo, Norway, Address Agathe Grøndahls gate, 2B. 0478 OSLO, Norway. tel. no. 47 21915170.

Mr. Priddy wrote and referred you to a prominent Danish journalist . who produced a professional TV film that was made in Denmark last year called 'Seduced by Sai Baba', which was shown by the national broadcaster (Danmarks Radio) last year, in which Sathya Sai Baba's tricks are exposed and where victims of his particularly serious same sex abuses are interviewed, not least a young US citizen (who was a minor at the time of the abuse) and his father. Their accounts are most credible and also shocking because of the deceits practiced by Sathya Sai Baba.

The maker of this film - and also of a subsequent TV program in which a supposed 6 carat "diamond ring" given Mr. Priddy by Sathya Sai Baba in 1986 was finally assayed and found to be an almost worthless synthetic sapphire... is Mr. Øjvind Kyrø. His address is Mariendalsvej 44, DK-2000 Frederiksberg. Denmark. Telephone 45 38 34 00 17 and e-mail kyroe@city.dk

Bill, this documentary needs exposure here in America and it might as well start on the O'Reilly Factor.

With all the resources of Fox News at your disposal, you could really blow the lid off this massive cover-up by the US arm of the Sathya Sai Baba Organization, which has been posing as a 501c3 Church since the early 70s. If you need another excuse to come to California, their main offices are located in Tustin, California. As we speak, hundreds of Centers in almost every major metropolitan area of the United States are holding weekly meetings where it is forbidden to discuss these serious criminal allegations; and as a result, thousands of unsuspecting devotees and visitors are enticed to make the costly trip to the South of India in hopes of being invited by God himself into his coveted personal interview room.

Should you be so lucky to have the right skin and hair texture (at times he seems to favor young blondes), you could be told by the alleged Lord of Lords to drop your pants and engage with him in every sex act imaginable...

Just think about it, Bill... Many of these boys and young men have been raised and told from the time they were born that Sathya Sai Baba is God... That which they would not even dream of doing should a mere mortal make those requests of them, are humbly submitted to Sathya Sai Baba because they have been brainwashed to believe that it is God, Himself who is making the request.

Often these victims are bribed with promises of schooling in India, are given large sums of cash and other trinkets and told where to sit on the Darshan lines so they can be selected again and again.

I could go on and on, but talk is cheap and we need action... the kind of action that the O'Reilly Factor can provide.

Thank you for your consideration,
