Just a "Heads Up": New book out about my cult lead

In an interview, Dan Shaw makes some interesting comments about patterns and pitfalls for some persons who leave high demand groups, then join another similar group, or create a spiritual project of their own while still subconsciously operating from the indoctrination/world view of their old group.

Shaw does not say so, but this might be similar to what people go through when they've been in an abusive relationship, the relationship ends, and the person is afraid to be alone and quickly finds a new partner ('going on the rebound') before identifying the issues that caused trouble in Relationship #1.

Corboy,
Thanks for posting -- the interview seems to closely echo the experience ofmany who have been in cults or high demand group -- not seeing what's really there, blindly and devotedly following the leader because . . . well, he/she Is the leader and tells the member what to do. This info is very important, and I hope will be circulated widely.
