The Acharya Shankaras lead the monastic orders who who derived from the great Hindu philosopher and reviver of monasticism, Shankara. The successors carry names such as - Bharati, Sarasvati, Sagara, Tirtha, Puri, Asrama, Giri, Parvata, Aranya and Vana.
