I am probably older than many on this forum. I remember thinking in grammer skool (sic) and all the way to high skool (sic) that at any moment the russians/chinese/fill in the bogeyman would nuke us all. This is no different.

"2012" is just a way to make money for these vicious and horrible groups. They should have a level of Hell all reserved just for them for scaring and misleading the naive.

Sadly, this forum will see many many more postings the closer we come to "Doomsday" a jour.

There are many sects, cults and even religions that use the Doomsday technique, that has been going on for thousands of years.
Its must just be that convincing followers the End of The World is Nigh, is very lucrative.

Of course, the worst cases lead to deaths and group suicides.
