He states in, "Teaching the Fa at the Great Lakes Fa Conference in North America (2000.)," "When they couldn't endure the severe torture, they wrote repentance statements (Saying they no longer were practitioenrs.) But in their mind they were thinking, 'This is to fool them. I'll still practice after I get out. I'll still go to validate the Fa and I'll still go to Tiananmen.' But this is unacceptable."

Li also says in the same article, "Then is it true that if all of these arrangements or theirs aren't accepted, those students who haven't done well should also be on their way to Consumation? No, it's not. "

I feel so sad when I read these two quotes. I really want Falun Gong practitioners in China to be free of the experience of torture and death. I hope there are different ways to gain freedom and enlightenment than undergoing torture.
