"what they deem as unacceptable is completely malleable in their minds"

What some think is truth is not consistent. It is merely 'truth' as filtered through constantly changing moods.

Since Bernard has them under emotional control by manipulating their unacknowledged fears and ignorance to his own benefit, the constantly changing moods are probably all they know as reality.

In addition to Marcel the Maoist's critique of Desteni, there is a series of videos from 'Ordo Templi Aurora' (which doesn't seem to be an order at all according to google) making a decent critique of Bernard's brainchild.
Its good to see more politically diverse people all speaking out against the travesty that is Desteni.

Yes, there's 0rdoTempliAurora

XfinksX

freespeech4tw

SimulacronX

ToothlessGetRuthless

and various other channels with critical and/or satirical content on Desteni.

There are also quite a few videos here and there by individuals who've encountered Desteni on YouTube such as:

The Desteni Cult (Parts 1 and 2)

Then there's a new blog, Desteni Gossip with some informative articles on 'How to be a Destonian', 'Spamann vs. Bernard Poolman' and more.

As regards the politics of Desteni, they have made clear statements to the effect that they oppose Socialism and Communism. Anyone in any doubt can look it up.

Poolman's pathetic attempt to redeem Adolf Hitler, in his magnum opus, I Am Hitler, and his references to Hitler's economic policies as an example of 'equal money', is enough to show he is heavily influenced by Nazism, although he doesn't use Nazi aesthetics, except for the neo-Nazi head-style made obligatory for all Desteni thugs with their FaceWorldFaceOff campaign to get 100 million people to shave off their hair for 'Desteni'.

If they were Communists, they'd be concerned with the plight of the proletariat, and Desteni show no interest in the workers. They have to meet certain standards of 'practical common sense', which by any Marxist reading would be considered utterly bourgeois.

They're involved in 'internet marketing' and 'social networking', which even non-Marxists, and anarchists, liberals and fascists alike would agree are capitalist concepts. Only pure capitalists would say internet marketing, because it takes place in the virtual marketplace, has no essential moral or political value attached, as it operates in a 'free market' and is simply transfer of data and capital between traders in a free economy.

Desteni functions as a form of 'social networking' to market holidays at the Desteni farm.

It is a capitalist marketing exercise, and nothing more.

Poolman claims to oppose 'free choice' and capitalism, but he is actively exploiting the free choice of consumers. He and the deluded fools who console him in his psychotic delusions are all inveterate spammers.

Now it's getting out of control. They've had a Suggested ban list of YouTube users for some time. Now they've Suggested Facebook Bans.

Desteni, which is made up of about 100 people, already revel in their 2000 Haters Banned On YouTube, but eventually their banning lists are going to be so many times more they may just get the message.

In a recent video by Poolman, Articulation & Presentation he says that in the presentation of his talks no articulation or presentation is involved.

He says anything deliberately prepared is about knowledge and is therefore made to deceive. He encourages his listeners not to look at presentation or knowledge.

Poolman articulates and presents all the time. In nearly all his videos he announces the title before he begins and then speaks on a particular topic. He presents an image of a painting of a scary monster.

A talk directed at listeners through audio-visual media is presentation of articulated speech. Knowledge always comes into it. That's just common sense.

In Those that Know Too Much he says people that criticise Desteni won't be allowed to take part in the Desteni I Process because everything they say is based in knowledge and the mind. It doesn't seem to have occurred to him that it is obvious such people have no interest in taking part in the Desteni I Process. The criticisms they make are based far less on general knowledge or 'the mind' and more on actual information put out by the Desteni cult.

Oddly enough, he appears to have retracted previous statements about protecting copyright. In Ownership & Invention he claims that nothing can be owned and no ownership is ever valid. In that case, of course, there would be no point in Desteni trying to prosecute anyone for infringement of copyright.

Whether or not copyright or ownership are valid in any moral or political sense, they are valid in law.

How convincing can Poolman's arguments really be? They lack any substance whatsoever. He talks complete and utter rubbish. When Poolman claims to have a degree in law, he must be lying. No-one trained in law would present ideas in such an illogical way.

If Bernard's now claiming that no ownership is valid, why don't the Desteni-ites demand that he hand over ownership of the farm and other holdings-- including intellectual property rights, to be held communally by the group?

They would soon see how much weight to put on any of Bernards pronouncement's if they ask him to put his money where his mouth is.

I sense fear in Mr Poolman. I think he knows that if he starts playing the legal card that it'll be more trouble than its worth. Suddenly and possibly unwanted attention will brought upon his money making scam. Also, there is enough suspicion concerning his legitimate claim to the materials and techniques in Desteni. To me it looks like he stuck his foot in his mouth and is now doing a 180.

Nice save Bernie Poo, but you're still a dumpster-diver selling trash and exploiting people's hopes and emotions.

This video link was posted before: Process Support - Tithing

Poolman says that he and/or the Desteni org do not own the Desteni farm (which is called 'Mountain View', not Desteni, by the way). It is apparently owned by a bank. So presumably Poolman and his buddies are renting it.

As regards copyright, Poolman makes it clear that there are strict policies about using the Desteni name.

In Process Support - Using the Desteni Name he states that 'the Desteni name is what follows the Desteni Income Plan' and no-one should run another business using that name.

But as far as I can see, 'Desteni' is not a registered trade mark, so anyone can use that name if they want.

The Blog of ValentinRozman thread at the Desteni forum describes how Rozman got in trouble with Poolman and higher-ups in the org for proposing to independently run courses in Structural Resonance Alignment and for associating his business concerns with the name of Desteni.

Why shouldn't Valentin Rozman use the Desteni name? Simply because Poolman would risk losing his status and authority in the group and the 'product' he and his buddies on the farm have invented, Structural Resonance Alignment or the Desteni I Process, would risk ending up being modified or completely changed to suit someone else's purposes.

So Poolman contradicts himself again: he sees ownership as valid when it pertains to his concerns.

'So Poolman contradicts himself again: he sees ownership as valid when it pertains to his concerns.'

Its that old chestnut, much loved by unaccountable, dictatorial authority: "Do as I say, not as I do"

Bernard, of course, gets an exemption from the rules everybody else must slavishly follow, because Bernard is special.

It reminds me of an old "Cold War" era joke:

Communist: "In communism, we share everything!"

Capitalist: "So if you had two houses, you'd give me one?"

Communist: "Yes!"

Capitalist: "If you had two cars, you'd give me one?"

Communist: "Yes!"

Capitalist: "If you had two shirts you'd give me one?"

Communist: "No."

Capitalist: "Why not?"

Communist: "I have two shirts."
