I doubt that Poolman is seriously trying to transform the New Age Movement, he is just covering all his bases, casting the widest possible net by drawing on all these disparate influences. What is common amongst all the influences is the appeal to disaffected and vulnerable youth who have already pre-qualified themselves by showing a willingness to believe in other worlds, conspiracy theories and disembodied spirits of various kinds.
Poolman is attempting to trawl the outer fringes of any marginalised belief system, from the Aryan supremacists to radical environmentalists for his followers--its the marginalisation that attracts him to seek his followers from these groups, the belief system is immaterial.

But they are infinitely better off struggling with that disaffection and alienation--which is almost inescapable in the process of growing-up and becoming an adult--than united under the direction of such a calculating manipulator as Poolman.

Bernard Poolman identifies himself as a fan of Hitler, but the Desteni material does not currently deal overtly or in detail with racist, antisemitic, Nazi or fascist ideology, not even the Desteni 'I Am Hitler' series. Yet life on the Desteni Farm could be said to have a similar appeal to the Ariosophy of Nazi real or imagined occult history, an early form of New Ageism: working on "the self" while getting back to the land to improve what is "best for all" in "Oneness and Equality".

Share International's idea is that world economics will in the near future be transformed into a fairer system and that starvation will be eliminated under the guidance of the Maitreya and that will be the New World Order or New Age.
This sounds similar to Desteni's "Equal Money" scheme, which is why Desteni is in some quarters associated with Maitreya, the New World Order and/or the Illuminati. Yes, and he is none too fussy about what his followers believe just so long as it is wacky enough to keep them off-kilter and confused enough to prevent them from looking too closely at what he is really doing---which is implanting himself as the sole voice of authority in their individual worlds of confusion.
When people are confused they will follow the authoritive voice. Poolman will use whatever belief systems are to hand to develop the necessary conditions in the minds of his followers to obey him completely--he is an equal opportunity exploiter.
I think looking for a rational or logical pattern in the disparate influences is a red herring. Poolman doesn't need a rational or logical pattern, he needs an emotional dependence on himself and his authority. He gets that by working on and manipulating the existing beliefs and fears of his vulnerable followers, however bizarre those beliefs might be.
I seriously doubt that Poolman holds any beliefs of his own, save the conviction that he has an absolute right to complete power, domination and control over the lives of his followers. As he aquires more followers they will unwittingly reinforce that conviction, the classic vicious circle.

Bernard Poolman would absolutely LOVE that someone is calling Bernard Poolman The Antichrist, or the Maitreya fraud. (there are about 900 Guru's and other scammers claiming to be the Maitreya, which doesn't exist of course).
Bernard Poolman is a below D-list wannabe cult leader, with only a few followers so far. He has a few people around him who are in on the Desteni Big Lie SCAM, and they know its a scam to dupe the "stupid public".
Its most likely that Bernard Poolman did believe a lot of this bullshit when he was younger, and followed a few other New Agey cult Gurus. Then as he got older, he realized they had been conning him all along, and taking his money with their stupid courses, products, books and seminars.

Filtering is a key word, I think. I think there are cults that specialize in filtering people into different layers and then they go off in what appear to be different directions. Desteny already has a separation between media production and the rest, doesn't it?

Their videos are uploaded to all other free video upload sites. Desteni blogging and publishing of articles goes on any freebie web services available.
Critics of Desteni on YouTube have been flooded with comments and messages from Desteni members in an attempt to silence them.
