Rather than repeating group jargon can you answer the questions posted above?

This may disabuse readers from "pre-conceived ideas."

BTW--you said that destini is exposing "cults."

Please name the cults destini has exposed specifically.

this world is a world of cults - inequality and hierarchy - based in fear and the desire to 'control' - the whole consciousness system of polarity - superiority/inferiority - you see it everywhere: from the 'white light brotherhood', to christianity, the mafia, the U.S., the Pope - you name it.
and yes - ann is right: you see it in your family as well. we raise our children with a reward-system of polarity, and that we call 'love'. really a disgrace. again: based in fear and the desire for 'control'. there is no parent that don't manipulate their children to have them 'be how they want them to be' and 'do what they apparently should' to make their parents 'proud members of society'. children have become products in this world, an 'investment'. see: the education-system - yet another cult.

what this world requires is a CULTure of Life. because the value of life is life - and each being born into this world has to be able to enjoy life in freedeom of movemet and expression.
that is currently not the case at all. the human rights merely exist on paper - obviously for something to be 'fought for' - it implies that it doesn't really exist, not substantially, not consistently, not as a solid living-principle for all equally.

so the question is: how long is this world gonna fight each-other in the name of belief, fight for their 'opinion', pretend they are 'fighting for freedom' - before we actually start looking for practical solutions that will bring-forth real actual freedom for all equal - real freedom as who we are and how we exist as a whole.

BernardPoolman:

Welcome to the message board.

You say "guaranteed results."

What independent study has been done to establish results claimed by destini participants?

Is there a peer-reviewed scientific study you can cite, which has been published by a credible journal?

You say that destini is "not non profit."

Does that mean you are for-profit privately owned company?

Do you effectively control/own destini?

Or are there shareholders and a democratically elected board?

How much money does destini take in annually?

How much do you receive in salary and/or compensation?

Opinion is something used by potentially dangerous people that spread lies as if it is true - Get the facts and it stand to reason that this forum opens itself to consequence with publishing opinion without an actual source --this is potentially harmful to people that are easily frightened with years of conditioning about the word cult -- you have hardly placed yourself in a position of integrity

BernardPoolman:

Attacking members of this message board personally is against the rules you agreed to before posting here.

This thread is about "destini"--so please stay on topic.

You have said that destini is "non a non profit" on another thread.

Does that mean it is a privately owned and controlled for-profit company?

Do you own and control the company? Or are there other partners/shareholders?

Is there an elected board?

Is there a published budget?

Are you a licensed or board certified professional?

What is your educational background?

Is your CV posted on the Web site somewhere?

Christianity is centered around mainly one person. Islam is centered mainly around one person. In the case of Christianity it centers around a belief that Jesus died for the sins of those that accept him as leader unconditionally and only those that do so will be saved from damnation. Thus -- Christianity is a cult --and you must be a Christian

Ann1986:

How long have you been involved in destini?

You don't seem to know much about destini.

Bernard Poolman admitted in a post that destini is not nonprofit.

Didn't you know that?

Apparently it is a for-profit business.

You admit that there is no study or any proof other than anecdotal evidence provided through subjective personal testimonials, that destini actually has results.

Please understand that repeating the group jargon over and over again makes it seem that you have nothing substantial to say other than memorized mantras.

This is a very cult-like response, not unlike the posts of cult members that have posted on this board previously defending their various groups.

Quote:
Psychiatrist Robert Jay Lifton, who wrote the definitive book about thought reform (often called "brainwashing") also wrote a paper about cult formation. Lifton defined a cult as having the following three characteristics:

1. A charismatic leader, who increasingly becomes an object of worship as the general principles that may have originally sustained the group lose power.

2. A process [is in use] call[ed] coercive persuasion or thought reform.

3. Economic, sexual, and other exploitation of group members by the leader and the ruling coterie.

Margaret Singer, clinical psychologist and once Professor of Psychology at the University of California, Berkeley was the preeminent cult expert of the 20th Century. She counseled and/or interviewed thousands of people affected by controversial groups often called "cults." Dr. Singer offered meaningful definitions of unsafe groups or "cults" in her book Cults in our Midst.

According to Singer, unsafe groups or cults can generally be defined by three factors:

1. The origin of the group and role of the leader.

2. The power structure, or relationship between the leader and the followers.

3. The use of a coordinated program of persuasion, which is called thought reform [or more commonly, 'brainwashing'"].

Desteni perspective

In all above cases we will use Jesus and Christianity to show that the largest groups in the world today are according to these definitions real cults that has brainwashed millions --and I do not even have to share why because we all know how -- unless you are a christian group here at anticult that deliberately try to prevent a solution for the world as you are promotong Armageddon as mass suicide

Jesus as role as leader -- god also take this position as leader and a psychological profile of God based on the Bible will reveal a psychopath

The power structure of the church as the relationship between those in power is self evident

3 The co ordinated program of persuasion we have all been subjected to many times --from childhood when you were forced to pray at the dinner table

at Desteni we work fro a global solution involving the human race -- based on basic dignity -- all religions are not relevant as they do not take care of the day to day life of the human

we share our research and place it in practical context in this world- the problem is the level of brain washing that already exist -- it is so extensive that men go to war for a belief and dare to live well while billions suffer -- no love for the neighbor anywhere

BellaBargilly:

You didn't answer my questions.

And frankly you are repeating the same mantras as Mr. Poolman.

Are you Mr. Poolman attempting to post under another name?

That's against the rules.

BernardPoolman:

You didn't answer the questions asked.

Is there a problem with that?

You seem to be attempting to shift the focus of this thread. The topic is destini, not Christianity.

The Ross Institute is an educational nonprofit, not a religious nonprofit.

The questions asked go the structure of destini. How it works, who owns and controls it etc.

Please answer the questions.

BTW--all of the destini people posting here use almost the same words as you have. The repeat over and over again your verbiage. Why is that? Does this reflect your dominance and influence?

The members of desteni is allowed to be attacked personally -- all groups are people --you have double standards

How desteni is run is not of your concern -- where it is relevant --the necessary points are in place

I am qualified as policeman and have a law degree and developed several software educational products in reading and mathematics for the last 15 years.

I am qualified as a human being by virtue of my birth and claim my right to stand for a world where there is dignity for all. It is time that all take responsibility -- even you

Once an equal money system is in place -- desteni will no longer exist
