Basic Income Guarantee, Equal Life Foundation, Desteni

The Desteni members are promoting the Basic Income in their blogs. Bernard Poolman's blog has several posts tagged "basic income": http://creationsjourneytolife.blogspot.com/search/label/basic%20income

It is "an income unconditionally granted to all on an individual basis, without means test or work requirement". The official website of the Basic Income Earth Network is http://basicincome.org/

But the Desteni group are not promoting the real Basic Income Guarantee campaign and do not give links to any of the official BIG websites. What they are referring to is a "Basic Income Guaranteed" which they say is an initiative of their Equal Life Foundation.

In my estimation this is the most outrageous scam ever attempted by the Desteni group thus far. The Desteni Equal Life Foundation is trying to hijack the term Basic Income by using it in a very misleading way. They are misrepresenting a campaign run by other people by trying to make it seem as if it is their own. People who wish to support the real BIG campaign could end up donating money to the Desteni Equal Life Foundation instead.

The webmaster of the Dutch association of Basic Income has written an article about this new Desteni scam:

Desteni member Anna Brix Thomsen says more or less the same but that theres only been one suicide linked to activities of "the cult education forum":

If Desteni has information about these alleged suicides, which may or may not be of ex-members of Desteni, and that they are linked to bullying on a forum - then they should publish it - but first they need to get their facts right.

The hosting service for both the domains of the Rick Ross site and the Cult Education Forum is in the United States. That information is public and can be viewed at http://sitesentral.com/www.culteducation.com and http://sitesentral.com/www.culteducation.com. The host for Desteni.org is in Slovakia but it was previously in Sweden with the hosting service prq.se, which Anna Brix Thomsen calls "a safe haven for abusers". Again anyone can check this - it is public information. A Domain History search for desteni.org at http://whoisrequest.org/ shows that the host name server from Sept 2011 – Dec 2012 was prq.se.

So is Bernard Poolman admitting in writing, that there has been a suicide (or suicides) of Desteni members?

So the Desteni group is trying to blame others for any suicides from members of Desteni?

How many suicides of members of Desteni have there been?
Is there a pattern of suicides for some members of Desteni?

If so, of course the public needs to be notified of those facts.

Do the 'brainwashing techniques' used by Desteni, destabilize the psyches of some people, and lead to suicide?

Hey everybody.

This thread has been dormant for a little while, but I'm hoping some people are still around and interested in Desteni.

I've been watching the group for a long time, but got particularly interested following the death of Bernard Poolman—I was curious about how Desteni would react, after losing their head.

As far as I can tell, they're operating in a holding pattern. They haven't collapsed in on themselves, but they haven't moved forward with anything new.

Looks like Esteni has stepped in after Bernard's death—all my attempts at communication with the group have been handled by her or Sunette.

They're still shilling DIP, and Cameron Cope is still pushing TechnoTutor in the US, now via this site: [www.acmarketing.info]

Not sure if the group is evolving, or just withering away, but I'd love to speak to anyone who has had first-hand experience with the group.

I recently found this thread and am still interested to know what is happening with this group as I am still learning about the group and the web that it weaves.

I can tell you that they are still evolving because a friend of mine was recently introduced to them in the Vancouver, BC area,and very quickly joined them .

Avery Williams sold Techno Tutor distribution rights to the tune of USD $24,000 to a friend of mine. Within a month of meeting him, my friend was completely convinced of the product without having even seen it, and came up with the money to buy distribution rights. Now he plans to sell individual licenses for in his territory $5,000.

My friend is a very intelligent man, and joined GIN to improve himself and to become more succesful when along came Avery. Avery Williams trolls the GIN meetings to lure vulnerable people to join his MLM scheme and desteni. The irony is that it looks like he has ripped so many people off that when they meet him he appears to actually be successful.

It's hard to believe that in this day and age people can still be swindled into this group and out of their money, when there is ten times more negative information on the internet, then there is positive. This probably has to do with the "brainwashing" program, DIP, but I'm not sure.

I'll reiterate the order of things for anyone new to the forum and looking for information. One of the ways people get involved:

In 2010(when the worldcup football was there) I have been on the desteni farm for a year. I met both Bernard and Sunette(susan) and other desteni members. 1,5 years later I left. The reason for me not posting on this forum is that I didn't trust much of anything anymore and also other difficulties.

I want to firstly thank the contributions by many to this thread as it has helped me as well now, much later to put things together.

from what I can gather from the things I have been looking into is this:

-1995:ferdi poolman's 4 blind mice studio is created in sa
-2000: World Read, wake-up-genius education, power education sold that software with a different pitch. All these companies are in the name of Bernard Poolman.
Apparently then already convincing parents to buy the software that was worth around 30 dollars for 1000+
-readers are leaders: i don't know everything about this but it has nothing to do I think with desteni or TT

desteni itself I have written a lot about on my blog, but i couldn't substantiate much from the years 2012 to maybe 2018 or so. So they are gone. Since I got wind of what was going on within TT that combined some NLP stuff with desteni stuff and other pseudoscience garbage I have been diving into this again.

desteni is a cult that ticks all the boxes. basically talking you into needing the desteniprocess as the only solution as life apparently has to be birthed from the physical. Working towards some unattainable vague end goal of the living word as life in the flesh. Just typing stuff like that gives me convulsions.

All this genius saving the worlds kinda idea's was already in the pipes in 2000 maybe even before.

edit*: just the short version of desteni

-Desteni creates an inferiority complex by suggesting self is corrupt

-suggests self can be transcended into self-perfected/god. Then an endless process starts that you submit to from the belief that you can become god.

-From all the words god > any other word. And the process is to become the living word. This is the purification/self perfection process in simple terms.

And for a lot of situations it isn't even possible to have any normal conversations. Then state that don't agree and stop participation.

My heart sinks telling you this: education is already quite developed, you know peer review, proven results, science. If it wasn't already glaringly obvious: you get those credentials and tests and independent reviews before you set a price to a product.
