DWB is a place of delusional magical thinking of naive people who cannot decode the poetically written tibetan base txt. People there need someone to tell them what to do next. Ole Nydahls style of sheep farming will produce, what, in the future well see.

Nydahls best teaching he gave was: "Simply be in the moment then eerything (all the magic) will happen" -without drawing any lines of security anywhere in the world, no parachute in their system, but no tibetan buddhist lineage seem to have a parachute for the practitioner.

Lol, Oles home-style made tantra practise: parachuting. :D That was at least exciting…! ;)
When I look back Ole Nyahl was not the biggest problem for me: OK, I did not like his patriachal macho style and his talks were confusing, also he could not answer any of my questions in a helpful way- but the most disturbing experience for me were his students.

Such toxic group dynamics,throwing people out of the center for nothing, people in powerful positions who were not mentally able for this job. The imposed personality cult .So many adults talking bs about things they did not know at all… this was so sick and traumatising!

When I hear the word „sangha“ I am still getting aggressive.

Could be that "Karmapas" expiry date is nearing then, all that is left from it seems to be hype only. I dont expect it to change ever.

In the end Nydahl promised many times for his students to come back to have fun with them. 16th Karmapa made no such promises, nothing at all. No wonder tho, cos everyone betrayed him one-by-one, including Ole Nydahl. Atleast such transmission is easy to carry by his students, I mean parachuting...

Tibetan buddhism is a closed secret society

Hi,

I understand your anger,I've been there. Right now I know that Tibetan Buddhism is the same indoctrination and theater like all other religions.
You don't have follow anyone and spend big amounts of money to be a good and kind person. People in the cults need it to prove themselves that they are good and kind while most of them is quite opposite. So I'd advise you to leave it behind and to move forward. Best regards.

After - another - day of crying and griefing about my lost lifetime due to my naivity to believe Ole Nydahls „teaching“ , all the confusion I experiencied due to my trust in his weird buddhist ideas, the stressful dogmas and imposed personality cult spread by his devotees, all the hours in his most boring and disturbed groups for nothing, all the time I lost because I was stucked in this destructive organisation-

I suddenly deeply realised, that „nobody needs Ole Nydahl and his teachings at all“. He is nothing but a joke. Not worth the time.Totally meaningless. Only his Umpa Lumpas need him as a role model to pimp up their style.

Ole Nydahl is not an introduction into buddhism but an initiation into grandiose narcissism of an all time addict, who turned everything into a drug experience.

If I would only have worshipped my own perceiption I had from the first moment of him -what a heavy lesson!

Still I find it to a very large extent
Irresponsible by those who knew better to give him a free hand . We could not know it as this sort of buddhism is quite new to the west.

Ole's senior students knew his downside and hid it from new students so as (their excuse) not discredit the Dharma.

In other words, they lied.

Nydahl talks about this all the time "to change oneself" with the buddhist practice, but he himself never changed at all.
