Its hard for average people to understand Con-Artists like Ching Hai, they just brazenly lie.
They lie lie lie, simply to gain advantage, and make money, and manipulate people.
As said in this thread long ago, Ching Hai was simply lying, simply to get her followers to give her their money, and work harder for her.
Decent normal people need to wake up, smell the coffee, and realize that CROOKS like Ching Hai, sociopaths, they will simply LIE LIE LIE to get what they want.

Not in her defense, but based on her countdown clock on SMTV, it is supposed to end something in February of 2013. That being said, she said because a huge percentage of folks have become vegetarian and all her meditation, we are saved for like another bazillion years. LOL
We havent heard much from the group beyond the concert that has happened in Cali a month ago.

They waited amidst the faithful to see what would happen when the flying saucers failed to arrive and rescue them.
Sure enough, the leader found ways to rationalize it all.

Well from memory, Ching Hai was originally talking about the 2012 End of the World long ago, just as a way to bilk her followers of more money.
Then she extended it again, as predicted, then extended it even more.
Its very unfortunate that followers of these false Guru's don't realize that their Guru lies for a living.
Its hard for them to imagine someone lying so self-consciously and in public.
But people like Ching Hai have no problem at all lying in public constantly, it doesn't bother Ching Hai in the least.

PART 1:
A female initiate has decided to speak openly about being targeted by what she calls SEXUAL PREDATORS within this meditation group.
No matter how much I like the method, the Master or some of the Master's teachings, I just cannot look the other way.
Here is what I've heard so far:
She has been targeted by 3 predators
All 3 are much older male initiates (she thinks they are all around 20 years older).
2 are long time initiates (initiated for approx 20 years) who attend the group meditiation regularly. 1 left the group a while ago and became a contact person for Sant Mat!
Same bullshit pattern with all.
First step, they act friendly and tried to show that they are very spiritual to draw her in and gain her trust (claimed to be able to see portals to other dimensions, state that they have meditated at the Spiritual Blessing Lines mentioned by Master Ching Hai, claim to attend large group meditations with a few hundred people frequently etc).
Second step, they try to fish for personal information or vulnerabilities that they can exploit (do you have a boyfriend?, have you ever been in a relationship?, do you live alone or with family?, do you need help with anything? If yes, I can help you).
She caught on very quickly, refused to answer questions and tried to distance herself.
Third step, they tried to trick her to be alone with them (told her she was physically attractive, claim to have great meditation experiences or visions of the future which they will tell her if she met them outside the centre, claim to want to show her a portal to another dimention probably at some isolated location, claim to want to give her a lift somewhere to get her to go for a drive with him)
Step four, when none of the above worked they then tried to force their way into her life (sending abusive emails for a few years claiming to hear voices from above directing them to do so, pressure her to go for a drive with them, try to find excuses to be phycially close to or talk with her at the centre, trying to catch her while alone at the meditation centre ).
She has found out that all 3 predators have targetted other women. All 3 already had girlfriends or wives.
She like the other women have complained to the contact persons. No action has been taken. Told by one to just think positive and you can trust them because they are initiated.
She has written to the group's headquarter twice. There has been no repsonse.

Spiritual or religious groups tend to be based on faith, rather than something physical. They often share common concepts.
Some not so well intentioned people know this. They will adjust their behaviour to blend in with the group to gain trust, draw people in and manipulate them into getting what they want. My posting before is a good example of this.
I think it is safer to assume that people are the same everywhere and just because someone is initiated or claims to be spiritually aware or have the title of being a monk or nun does not make them automatically trustworthy.
