Thanks.
For people who gave all to the poor, they sure give off the beam of high living luxury.
sorry to disagree ALN, but I don't see this beam of high living luxury happening here at all.

Was it Dave McKay's last hurrah before he set sail with the remaining booty?
Wasn't all of Reinhardt's award used to finance the travel expenses of all the attendees as well as the cost of the cruise itself? His hospital expenses were already paid well beforehand weren't they?

It's good the photograph is so clear because a person gets a good clear look at some people. Likely family members that were not allowed to cruise along would be glad to be seeing there family member looking so rich and well fed.
I expect this remark was made tongue-in-cheek ALN, like the one about the JCs having given all to the poor - sorry if I seem to be missing the joke, but neither the attending JCs nor their relatives look at all rich, nor particularly well-fed, to me. And I find this quite saddening, since true wealth is not material anyway. P'raps I'm missing something more, but the JCs pictured here don't present to me as being either abundantly blessed, or joyous and spiritually well-fed.
Like Malcolm, I find the group picture very moving. For me, it is as painful to see the absence of so many relatives who would doubtless give anything for free and unmoderated access and interaction with their loved ones, as it is to see the supressed strain in the demeanour of those who have succeeded in maintaining moderated relationships with theirs. That will have been at quite some cost emotionally, if not ethically as well. I congratulate them for having bypassed the potential damage to their relationships over all the years which Dave's teaching and encouragement to abandon one's family and friends at the first opportunity presents.
