Mihai and Adina Stoian have been extradited from Georgia to France where they are now accused of human trafficking. They were the leaders of Natha yoga school in Denmark and other Scandinavian countries where they coordinated the the supply of young women for their guru in Paris.

On August 12, 2025, YLE Finland published a short article entitled "Törkeistä rikoksista epäillyn joogagurun oikeusjuttu siirrettiin Suomesta Ranskaan" (The trial of a yoga guru suspected of serious crimes has been transferred from Finland to France).

In addition to what we already know, we also learn some interesting new information.
In 2017, Finnish prosecutors filed multiple charges of sexual abuse and aggravated human trafficking against Gregorian Bivolaru.

Then the authorities issued a European arrest warrant for him.

The trial planned for Helsinki in 2018 could not be held because the Romanian guru could not be reached.

Since Bivolaru's arrest in November 2023 in France, several attempts have been made to bring him to Finland.

"In late summer last year, the prosecutor received a request from France to transfer the case to France, which is why the prosecutor withdrew his own charges. The charges of exploitation had already expired, so there were only five charges of aggravated human trafficking. The Helsinki District Court decided to leave the matter as it is.

The trial in France is expected to take place next year or in 2027."
