[khon2.com]

KHON2 is very polite. At least, they are calling it an “incident” now as opposed to Chelsea Davies’ “accident”. Is this the type of journalism we have now? The DLNR investigation was obviously botched. It is up to HPD to make things right. Chances are this will be blown out into an international interest, not because of the incident but because of a bigger issue: How it was handled.

If so, we’ll see how far power and politics can influence a case. I hope this wakes up voters to how important their collective voice is in handing power to politicians. That is if the constituents care enough for Hawaii not to become just another Banana Republic under unscrupulous politicians — who they represent and to whom are they loyal to.

Do not allow Sri Shim’s death go in vain.

A day that will die in silence? January 9, 2016

"The world needs to know the plight of the little people who are walked upon like grass." A journalist's calling described by Tim Foley, killed by ISIS.

Friends, a man's life was cut short, mowed down like grass, in Kailua Bay, Hawaii.

Quote

SRI MEHEULA SHIM Sri Meheula Shim was born on December 17, 1956 to Alvin Tong Shim and Marion Heen Shim. He passed away on January 9, 2016 at the age of 59.

People fall silent when visiting the USS Arizona.

For we all remember Pearl Harbor. Witnesses were present. Witnesses spoke.

Attention was paid.

Silence is the wrong response to Sri Shim's death.

Why?

Because silence does not honor the manner in which Sri Shim died.

Silence conceals the manner in which Sri Shim died.
Meanwhile, evidence subsides into the depths like a the last bubbles of a drowning.

There is a silence that honors life.
There is a silence that murders history.

Voters, journalists, officers of the law -- this is your moment.

" But he’s a human being, and a terrible thing is happening to him.
"So attention must be paid.
"He’s not to be allowed to fall into his grave like an old dog.
"Attention, attention must be finally paid to such a person.

Chris Butler Spies in the Honolulu Prosecutors Office

Readers might feel relieved that the cult of Chris Butler will finally be held accountable for the death of Sri Shim and the injury of his stepson Trey Albrecht. Not so fast. Chris Butler has a documented record of placing cult members in government offices including the office of the City Prosecutor. In the per-internet era, the local press were not afraid to print the truth about Chris Butler and his cult.

• Reed Denies a Claim That He Told Adviser About State’s Report, Honolulu Star-Bulletin, October 30, 1986
• Reed’s Guru Denies Ever Discussing Heftel Smear, Honolulu Star-Bulletin, October 31, 1986

The best evidence, as reported at the time by both papers, lead back to a xerox machine in Charles Marsland’s office, his Executive Assistant at the time, Rick Reed and the Chris Butler Hare Krishna group

Will there be justice for Sri Shim?

There were some interesting comments accumulating at the end of the KHON webpage "Investigation into deadly Kailua boating incident handed over to prosecutors"
but all have now been removed.

Boat operator in deadly accident may face negligent homicide charges
“…Several witnesses have told Hawaii News Now that they saw Hansen’s Zodiac speeding near the coast of Kailua on the day of the accident. According to records provided by city Ocean Safety officials, there were about 225 people in the waters all along Kailua beach about the time the accident occurred. “I’ve received reports, several reports, of the activities of an individual down there with an orange zodiac racing up and down the waters,” said Heen…”

In my opinion, Butler has kept his hidden hand deep in Hawaiian politics for decades. How devious and deep remains to be seen. The Hawaiian media and authorities need to start doing their jobs.

Chris Butler Spies in the Honolulu Prosecutors Office

According to sources: "Not only did Rick Reed discuss everything with Chris Butler on this, but had been as far back as 1976! Butler told Rick what to say and do, fed him info about Larry Mehau, told him to run for what office, how to run his campaigns, who should be on his staff, and even who to marry. It was also a follower who tried to set up Inoyue in some sex scandal for Reed's campaign. Luckily Reed lost that one.

Butler lived on the premises where the old Valley Isle and other newspapers were written, typed up and laid out. Rick was not the editor. Butler was. I have witnesses who were there at meetings with Butler and Reed talking about how they were plotting to slander Cec Heftel and Larry Mehau.

There is nothing Reed would not do for Butler (or any follower for that matter). His marriage to Carter Phillips was another cult arrangement to get Reed in the Attorney General's office.

(Serial marriage partner Bhramana tirtha das aka Tim O'Connor brought Carter Phillips into the cult and introduced her to Butler. But she had an ethical streak, busted Reed & Butler and left the island. Wish she would come forward again!)"

"People do not realize the depth of belief these cult members have in Chris Butler Jagad Guru Siddhaswarupananda. They believe anything he does and says is perfect, pure, and direct from God. They believe him to be infallible. They will do anything for him. It is very dangerous for so-called spiritual and religious leaders like this to be involved in politics. Reed lied. Both Tulsi and Mike Gabbard have lied about their connection to Butler. Butler himself lied about not being involved in Hawaiian politics. And guess what? His followers will always take the fall for their guru".

So I am doubtful that Sri Shim will get justice as long as the Hawaiian media and authorities ignore the elephant in the room.

Butler Cult World View on Sri Shim's Death
Posted by: Vera City ()

If you are curious to know what the cult feels about Sri Shim's death and how their world view may have contributed to the reckless driving, the following quote is a revelation. It also may reveal why they are such bad neighbors lacking in "Aloha Spirit". It is a philosophical underpinning that justifies all their actions.

Under the video A.C Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupad "The Good -The Bad and The Ugly" are comments from a "true believer" that illustrates perfectly the attitude of Butler and his cronies when it comes to any human tragedy. It's all karma. But their take on it is particularly cruel and obtuse, maybe even sociopathic.

Quote
Brayden Price
Apologise for what? Karma?, Both victim and perpetrator are simply acting according to their individual karma's. like puppets!. No-one can be killed unless they have the unfortunate karma to be killed, Theirs no reactions that are coming from nothing!. ALL reactions Had a previous action. This is whats known as Karma. Every action has a reaction, so every "reaction" had a cause. if you kill some-one, you'll be killed at some point. If you cause violence, violence comes your way. what goes around comes around, you reap what you sow, Karma. Every action has a reaction, Newtons law. Theirs no innocent souls in this world, thats why millions of women and children die! in wars or catastrophes or by diseases like cancer. Our own activities are to blame for our Bad Karma. So theirs nothing cosmic about your outlook on this topic, just a limited material view without the accounting for of Karma.

Doubtful the killer of Sri Shim and maimer of Trey, whomever he is, will feel any remorse.

The cult children are raised to believe that they are superior human beings because they chant, serve Butler, and are vegetarians. They look down on people who eat meat. They disdain fishermen. They think people surfing and hanging out on the beach with their families are lowly "enjoyers". If they don't dedicate their lives and money to Chris Butler, at most they are condescended to as 'pious' but still in need of guidance. Mostly they are considered "karmis" or demons. All of which, they believe, are in need of Butler's image to worship.

For them to accidentally (or on purpose) cut a fisherman's line or chase the diver away is a victory. They value the fish's life more than the fisherman.
