What's ironic is that as long as these schools are operated under the legal radar, either in foreign countries or in secluded devotee communities, this type of crap will keep going on.

Devotees live in terror of the "outside" world and often send their kids to such "schools" in hopes of the best, but instead, get the worst.

And if the abuse is not at the hands of teachers and fellow students, then it is at the hands of the larger doctrines woven into their ideology. Children are afraid of the opposite sex, they are afraid of having feelings and emotions and they are afraid to speak up and have no one to talk to.

Yes, they smile for pictures and grit through it all, but the fact remains that both in Butler's PI schools, as well as ISKCON and other off-shoot krishna groups there is endless abuses, physical, and mental, emotional and ultimately spiritual.

In the end, most students are left to make sense of their young life in these cults on their own. As they grow up, mature and have REAL experiences, they wither resent how they were raised or they know nothing else and simply stay in it because it's all they know how to do. They ultimately feel awkward outside the fold of the cult and need to formulate an identity within its confines.

I have been often mocked and belittled in here for saying that when you retaliate against the science of identity, something bad happens.
This is of course my experience and it cannot be just coincidence. It is a pattern that I have noticed in my life way too often to think it is jut random.
But I do it anyways because it is the right thing to do and I also have to take revenge for what they have done to me and my life.
Recently everything has gotten so bad. I sent a very nasty email to all of them mentioning all that I had found out in here.
I also presented myself.
Told them that I had trashed them in this forum so that they know who I am.
Just a week later or so I was involved in the freakiest accident ever and now my body is completely injured.
Of course it is just karma and a coincidence. Nothing to do with attacking someone who is very protected by whatever asshole-ish forces out there.
It is fine if I’m seen as crazy in here.
All I want to say is that nothing will stop me from trashing this path as well as the criminal guru and his minions.
I am still standing. I am no longer the coward that Bhakti yoga had built.

Thank you for sharing this. I was not aware of this school in Dallas and their history. All devotees and ex-devotees should read the account of the mother of the abused boy. She shared it on her Facebook page (linked in the article above).

I have many emotions reading what happened, and it is absolutely bizarre the way other teachers, temple management, local congregation members, and whoever else involved attempt to sweep it under the rug, or even invent reasons that justify the abusive behavior. That's true. Psychologists or psychiatrists can help at some level. In a variety of ways. NLP specialists identifying and clearly showing the recruitment techniques used by the sects.
